Best red dead 2 series I have watched so far
I would also like to note
Obviously people bring up Micah seeing no reason to kill Arthur in high honor
But also you have to realize in high honor in Micah's mind
Arthur's gonna die anyways Micah directly states this knowing it "he's dying he's sick!
So in high honor he is leaving him in his head to suffer and die slowly rather then give him a quick way out
In low honor he goes for Arthur and when Arthur still refuses to give up and mocks him Micah had enough not being able to stand being lesser and kills him , he probably didn't even gain anything from it after either because he still was demeaned immensely and lost Dutch over it *which he is incredibly upset about as Micah admires dutch, he is like the spoiled kid that manipulates getting daddy to get what he wants but he still admires him and has almost nothing but good things to say about him, He actually tried to befriend Arthur in chapter 2 or 3 but it dosent work, he finds arthur to become a severe threat, he does not cower from arthur but he fears him as most gunslingers did fear each other back in the day because they could likely lose to someone equal to them
Micah hates how Arthur demeans him and calls him out on every turn and such
He is jealous of Arthur as well wanting to be better then him and also be dutch is best buddy
Micah above all else is a survivor though when you analyze him depending on who you ask just like any human being he is complex and a deep character
His philosophy is "he is a survivor" & to survive nothing is off limits
In high honor he simply leaves being upset with Dutch and deciding Arthur is not worth it because "he's dying anyways" and it would be worse to let him suffocate to death
In the low honor ending Micah is also actually very nervous of Arthur as well
There is a dialogue in the game where Micah and Arthur talk and Micah mocks him
In both Arthur simply says "anytime just name the place"
In high honor Micah smarts off
In low honor Micah actually doesn't reply and shuts up and this implies he is actually scared of Arthur and intimidated
He sees Arthur as a threat and fears him a bit in high honor
But he's really scared of him in low honor and wants to kill him to make sure he's down and to prove he is better
That being said I'm sure you probably love this ending even more now because of that because Micah was scared of Arthur like he was the grim reaper in low honor
I prefer Arthur's low honor ending, too, and I got high honor when I played.

i think the reason micah kills arthur in the bad honor ending is bc he says something to micah and in good honor he says nothing idk tho and if it wasnt like this i think they shouldve done it like this

Also, I should let you know since you mentioned it @ 1:21:41 during the house building mission, that blue jay you saw is supposed to resemble Arthur’s spirit watching over John and Charles as John builds the life for him and Abigail. During some time as Arthur I can’t remember, he mentions his favourite bird is a blue jay, so the theory is that blue jay is Arthur watching over John Charles and Uncle.
yo pro tip, if you turn dead eye on and off really quick, you refill your ammo without reloading. So if you dual wield 2 pistols (for example) at close range targets u can mag dump them and then turn dead eye on and then off super fast, hence reloading both guns so you can mag dump. I suggest using 2 semi auto pistols for the best result.
P.S you can turn a double barrelled shotgun into an automatic shotgun if you know how to do it properly. Hold l2 and then click r3 (right stick) twice then left go of l2. I promise you’ll love the cinematics.

When u do the fishing mission u reel the fish to u with R3 when its fighting u you have to put R3 in any direction and push it down so it doesn't go further
At least this is more entertaining than that fixed fight
