Yes, Sony screwed this up big time it seems like the biggest scam of all time yes you get a graphical upgrade when you upgrade to the PS5 console but that's about it. I'm not about to drop $400 on a brand new PS5 just so I can play with my buddies because basically those guys still have the PS4 and when we want to play games that we love they just come back and load up their PS4 and we play. Yes Marquez it is a curse to be on the cover of any 2K cover there's a long list of players that broke in their legs right after they got the cover of 2K and lost out on the next season.
You have to remember YouTube videos suck to see the real gameplay video I have to be in person and people was blown away in how the pro looks
Developers are gunna have fun with the pro. Games are gunna get that much better.

Answer is: in 14 years, you get to own the ps after you pay $50/year. But for Panels+, you will still be paying subscriptions
I think people miss the point, you are paying +200 extra to have modern PS5 games with high fidelity at 60fps and to go ahead and get the SSD bump up without installing it yourself. No disk drive at that price? because Sony doesn't expect people to pay $700 to play PS4 games. It did not help that people paid scalpers $700-1200 for a PS5. If this gets scalped, I won't get it. If it doesn't, I might consider it.

They should have made a series x pro. They would have been slaughtered. The ps5 og or slim is more than enough for todays gaming. Technically speaking, from a hardware standpoint, xbox won. But when it comes to games, nobody beats Sony. I will just buy an og or slim ps5 for a discounted price and get a PS6 while everybody else wastes their money on a PS5 Pro for a SLIGHTLY better system 😆 🤣 😂 😅

Stop buying PlayStation you want this for 8k gaming? For the most part graphics is the only thing improving not even frame rate. This is why I feel like right now is time to give Xbox a chance. Also, he has been doing his raising the price on everything with nothing to show for it. But I will say a Spider-Man with a nice game but most I remakes or remasters so what did you pay the extra $10 for $70 per game for what? Speak with your wallet if there was ever a time to do so now it is.

I feel like I am the only one but I did see the difference in graphics and frame rate like it wasn't like the character models themselves were better but it would be the leaves and the water and etc. Yes they definitely could've portrayed it way better and showed different games to prove that but I really don't believe people when they don't see the difference because it is pretty glaring to me.

It’s 2024 most things stopped using physical discs. Not saying Sonys move was right or wrong but I haven’t bought a disc based game in years and I’m also primarily pc minus exclusives. I was fortunate and got my ps5 for 499 on launch because I couldn’t get the disc less version for 399 at the time. My trade in of my ps5 is 400 so a hundred dollar loss over time. This cost of the ps5 pro is nothing compared to a similar performing pc. At least they offer the disc drive for the few that still buy everything physically. I think if Sony did a move like Blu-ray Discs where when you buy the physical you get a digital download code that would be clutch but unless there was a way to prevent the user from giving the code away for free or tieing to your account then good luck. But I do think the price should be 599.
I mean I remember when phones gave us everything we needed in the box but not now (thanks apple). But it seems to be the way of the future in this fast evolving tech industry.
