I love that you wash the plantain too.

@Seed318

“Lovely Authentic menu, but too much pepper it will overpower the flavour of the Plantain.”

@chicksuche9059

Niceeeee. Pls can I use palm oil for this ?

@SusanOnwualu

Sisi. You have good cooking utensils. Have you taught of introducing your own cookware line with quality. We will buy oo

@joyekeji501

How do I get fresh ugu leafs? We have spinach but it melts quickly

@tanishanightingale

Vegetable oil is really really bad for human consumption. Please do your research. You can substitute for avocado oil which is neutral in taste and great for you.

It wasn't until i was about 2mins into this video that i remembered that a few weeks ago my grandmother sent me a lot of plantains that i had kept in my storage room and had forgotten about.
I just went back now to see all of the plantains, very golden ripe 😋 can't wait to try this recipe today, but i think I'll be adding palm oil to my own just for colour 👨‍🍳🔪🍲

@stellakosiso

I'd add my plantains raw at the end, it cooks really fast so no need to parboil. Just a way to ensure it doesn't get mushy.
