  1. I am from the Longshanks family although the name has morphed into Longshaw, (Cheshire) this is probably the only time in history that we can access such historic detail about our roots.
    Thank you.

  2. There has to be some big reason why women wore headdresses t hat made them appear subtily snakelike and other secret-cult- like millinery
Could it be a nod to the "blue blood" stories. That these Noble families are descendants of gods, sea kings, witches and demons.
I love the, I believe , 14th Century illuminated book about Melusina!
If you're not aquatinted with this, please, go! Look at it online. It is neat!

    * By big reason, I mean a secret, hidden reason. One that only initiates will know. Everyone else gets a story like, "The snake in antiquity denotes Wisdom."
Maybe. But not the Wisdom they want us to believe!

"Wise as serpents, harmless as doves"

  3. What a great content.
Regarding Henry IV. – one can be a good king for his time and country. Though the outcome of one’s action lead to something bad. Can we call him a bad king? Or Henry V.? What are the foundations of the war of the roses? Surely it is easy to name Richard II. As root cause. Or is it his father?

  4. Your documentary compilations are top-notch and greatly appreciated. The immersive narration truly brings history to life, especially with figures as captivating as Eleanor of Aquitaine.

  5. The Plantagenets: The Inspiration for "The Game of Thrones". But in the Middle Ages it was the Norm to be that Ruthless on the Battlefield. War was very different before the invention of guns.
