The pain of raising my daughters in a dysfunctional family and why I should’ve walked out earlier
The pain of raising my daughters in a dysfunctional family and why I should’ve walked out earlier
Today on LNS, we get to rebuild and restore with Emily Obwaka as she walks us through her marriage journey, raising her children in a dysfunctional family, watching her 3rd born daughter drown in addiction, why she had to ask forgiveness from her daughters, and why we can always turn our lives around🙏

Such a wonderful graceful, gracious woman! The vulnerability with which Emily shares her tribulations yet with a lot of grace and love even for her husband… wueeeh! May God restore and bless her heart and family.
We love you Mum Rev Emily. You are such an encouragement to many. Many silently draw strength from you as a mother. Much love mum❤❤
Wow very inspiring story. I know Emily but didn't know many details of her life eg I'm a dentist and had no idea she was one too. I see myself in her story…she is a beacon of light and inspiration to many. I want to get in the same room with her and have a conversation. Thanks Lynn for your platform. You're the best

She really has inspired my faith in God! There is NOTHING that can compare to knowing Him! To Lynn, I have prayed for God to continue to establish you and for you to continue to be rooted in Him as you are. You are serving an entire generation with your obedience and service. I thank God for giving you to us!

🎉❤❤ Mrs Obwaka, I remember you from Bunks & Biddles where Dorah went to school. Blessed house🎉 God preserve and keep you.❤
62 looking this young, even her mom looks really fresh and young ❤
I was completely transformed by mum preaching. I follow her closely. She was so open on addiction .I felt a sense of understanding and through her, I was able to assist my brother transform when everyone gave up on him. He is 6 months sober through a program by Solom Kilanga – GLC
I saw the guy (Dr. Ombaka) he doesn't look good at all. If he doesn't change, he won't stay alive long…
Wow what a story 😯.. beautiful mother loving caring and love for God…
I now get where murugi got the eloquence 🥰👌
I look forward to Jesus gal interview. Thanks Lyn for bringing Dr. Emily. What a testimony
Powerful
The way when she talks one gets peace…
Lynn I feel like Emily Obwaka is describing my 22 years with an alcoholic husband. A time comes when you have to do you and let your partner go alone in the path they have chosen.
She is so beautiful.
Take Mama's advice on diet, especially if you are 50 years and up.
Thank you, Dr.
Haiya ati 62..is that correct? She looks younger and so beautiful 😍

Wow, great words of wisdom from a strong woman.
My take away, God should be at the center of everything in our lives.
Congratulations mama Emily.
You're a beautiful soul .I know from personal experience
So I rejoice before watching
She is so powerful 😍
Thank you LNN team kubwa for hosting this beautiful WOG who has blessed us immensely.
My take home is the money part. That it covered the atrocities.
I’m not bashing money, money is a good tool, now I understand even more, that we should not love it to the extend of compromising the space for God, our sanity and peace. ❤
This is amazing😍. She is a blessing to many of us. God bless you🙏🙏🙏. Authenticity👌❤
Her smile is that of Kutana❤so gorgeous.
Such a nice conversation.😊
I sincerely love these conversations. Being open, authentic and led by God. I have loved Madam Emily especially in days she used to be on Hopefm. God continue leading us all and we should also be very awake when following Him.
