The pain of raising my daughters in a dysfunctional family and why I should’ve walked out earlier

Today on LNS, we get to rebuild and restore with Emily Obwaka as she walks us through her marriage journey, raising her children in a dysfunctional family, watching her 3rd born daughter drown in addiction, why she had to ask forgiveness from her daughters, and why we can always turn our lives around🙏

  2. Such a wonderful graceful, gracious woman! The vulnerability with which Emily shares her tribulations yet with a lot of grace and love even for her husband… wueeeh! May God restore and bless her heart and family.

  3. Wow very inspiring story. I know Emily but didn't know many details of her life eg I'm a dentist and had no idea she was one too. I see myself in her story…she is a beacon of light and inspiration to many. I want to get in the same room with her and have a conversation. Thanks Lynn for your platform. You're the best

  4. She really has inspired my faith in God! There is NOTHING that can compare to knowing Him! To Lynn, I have prayed for God to continue to establish you and for you to continue to be rooted in Him as you are. You are serving an entire generation with your obedience and service. I thank God for giving you to us!

  7. I was completely transformed by mum preaching. I follow her closely. She was so open on addiction .I felt a sense of understanding and through her, I was able to assist my brother transform when everyone gave up on him. He is 6 months sober through a program by Solom Kilanga – GLC

  8. Lynn I feel like Emily Obwaka is describing my 22 years with an alcoholic husband. A time comes when you have to do you and let your partner go alone in the path they have chosen.

  9. Thank you LNN team kubwa for hosting this beautiful WOG who has blessed us immensely.
My take home is the money part. That it covered the atrocities.
I’m not bashing money, money is a good tool, now I understand even more, that we should not love it to the extend of compromising the space for God, our sanity and peace. ❤

  10. I sincerely love these conversations. Being open, authentic and led by God. I have loved Madam Emily especially in days she used to be on Hopefm. God continue leading us all and we should also be very awake when following Him.
