The OnePlus 12 is the Coolest phone ever seen…

The OnePlus 12 has some rather exquisite internals. Check current price HERE: https://bit.ly/OP12JerryRigEverything From Jan 23 to Feb 22, use the special code JERRYRIGGIFT, and receive a free gift from OnePlus with a purchase. Huge thanks to OnePlus for sending over a phone and sponsoring this teardown. Rarely do we see substantial…

  1. Dear Youtube Friends & Technology Enthusiasts,

    Greetings To All Of You,

I am looking for honest & direct recommendations / advice on the following question(s).

Q1: I've been using the Realme X2 Superzoom (8/256) variant for the past two years? This was my first time trying out Realme, and so far, I have had a positive experience with it. Before Realme, I was a loyal Asus phone user. Now, I am looking to sell my phone. What price should I ask for as a seller? Even though the phone is almost two years old, it is in great condition with no physical damage, internal issues, or exterior scratches. I have taken good care of it. I still have all the original accessories, box, and receipt. People have been offering me between 8k to 9k for it, which I believe is not a fair value for my phone. What should I do in this situation?

Q2: I don't like Apple brand. I have intentionally kept the budgwet upto30k because, I don't see the point in showing off or spending more money on smart phones. However, I am curious & tempted to try out the oneplus brand. So, which of these options would be a smart choice & provide value for money in 2024 & for the next 3 years – Realme 12pro 5G or one plus 11 / 11r or 12 / 12r? I have never used a oneplus phone before. My day to day usage is like a typical corporate sector employee (Heavy Phone calls, Skype / Zoom Offcial Meetings, Documents Preprations – All MS Office, Netflix, Youtube & Entertaiment etc).

Kindly let me know your prespective at the earliest & Thankyou to all of you in advance.

    Best Regards,

    Amit Mehra.

  2. As a user from India, I used to use the OnePlus 6 for about 2 years. Then, I upgraded to the OnePlus 9 Pro. When I switched, I felt like OnePlus had changed; it seemed a bit expensive, and I didn't feel the same as with the old OnePlus 6. Maybe it was my own problem, but I got used to it. Still, in my mind, I thought this would be my last OnePlus; next time, I'll switch to something better like Samsung or iPhone. After 1 year of using the 9 Pro, the green line showed up. I was out of warranty, but they had the courage to say it was their mistake and fixed it for me. After a year, the line showed up again, and they fixed it again. That's twice. I've seen Apple and Samsung phones have the same issue in the Indian variants, and the company refused to fix for their customers. When the OnePlus 12 launched, I got a really good exchange plan, and the OnePlus 12 is an excellent upgrade from the 9 Pro. The battery life is top-notch, the camera is more than enough, and Oxygen OS feels as smooth as it was before.

  3. Man, i got the oneplus 11 last year to try the company out and while their hardware is excellent their software is slightly lacking. But over the past year a few software updates meant its not as bad amymore, and this seems like a real improvement over the 11. I dont want to upgrade after less than a year of having this phone, but the 12 seems like a good long term phone.

  4. I am a software engineer and moved away from Samsung. I never really had any other phone.
Samsung isn't what it used to be, it feels like im buying an iphone more n more.
Dont get me wrong both make high quality products, apple even more so.
The thing is, i prefer to not be seen as the object that stands between the company and my money. You buy a piece of hardware, you get the software with it (otherwise itl be useless) and thats it.

Unfortunately those companies tend to think its still theirs once you have bought it; always trying to make you depend on them valueing money above what the customer experiences.
Samsungs becoming more like that unfortunately.

  5. "Hey jerryrigeverythin, I've been a loyal follower of your content, and while I enjoy the creativity in your phone destruction videos, I can't help but feel a pang of sadness each time a perfectly good phone meets its demise. I understand it's part of your content, but I wanted to reach out and share a personal plea. I've been in need of a new phone for a while now, and despite my best efforts, I haven't been able to afford one. Watching your videos, I can't help but hope that maybe, just maybe, one of those phones could find a new home with me. I know it's a big ask, but your kindness would mean the world to me. Thanks for considering it, and keep up the entertaining content. 🙏♥️"

  6. I can’t agree with OnePlus repair and customer service being on par with the quality of device. Long waiting times for repair. Parts are on back order for weeks. A lot of denied claims…
