I don't think it's about being independent that you was doing your thing and then all the ppl want to show up after you've been established. So what you've been seeing was not what you thought you saw so you shake ppl lose

I think it's more so from men and women that came from single parent homes because a lot of things they had to learn on there own and men have it harder. People expect you to know and do everything and some men may have try and see it did not work for them you a man you post to do this and that but if a man did not grow up and see it how you expect him to do it and depend on what it was he may have try and see it did not work so he not going to waste his time doing it anymore.
I've seen and felt that more from women. My niggas. We always give a handshake and a hug. Always. Rarely from the women my age. The Matriarchs always give ya boy a hug. And I give the love back. Once the independent word comes out a woman's mouth, blood I'm gone. Do it all by yaself, sweetheart
