Bro the whole idea behind gatekeeping speaks, for itself. I mean how is it possible that you are in every hit song there is in a specific genre. this is actually simple, the idea behind a gatekeeper, in the music in this sense, literally means that they are the one who have first hand ties to all the major record labels and as a result they can exploit artists as hard as they can, reality is all these young upcoming artists are hungry for fame and the benefits that come with it, so gatekeepers do take advantage of them.
