  1. I’m so glad will smith went on to make another TERRIBLE movie rather than making a cinema classic, he would’ve absolutely destroyed this great movie, I honestly can’t think of any movie will smith has done that’s actually worth watching 🤔

  2. I'll never forget my mom recommending we go see this. I was 13 back then and without things like social media and the internet (like it is today), I had never heard of it until watching it. My family have always been moviegoers and we really liked Keanu in Speed, so I'm guessing that's why she recommended we go see it. I lived in the Netherlands at the time and will never forget the small 1-screen theatre that had a bar and had an intermission, right after the "welcome to the real world" line of dialogue. I left the theatre really amazed at what I had seen. A lot of the subtleties and religious iconography etc. was totally lost on me at that age but the action scenes and the way they were filmed were unforgettable. And the whole plot of computers and living in a computer simulated world, when I had been around/learning PCs for the past 5+ years was a movie/story concept that felt so deep to me. I had NEVER seen anything even remotely like this before. Such an incredible movie, even to this day, and is easily in my top 5 movies of all time.

  3. Ummm when you're talking about Morpheus, you say that the name was later adapted into the Neil agaiman Comic…the sandman comics started coming out in 1988…the matrix came out in 1999.
