  1. Ha?? Huge mistake! The Mali empire encompassed more than just modern Mali, but Senegal, the Gambia, a portion of Guinea, Guinea-Bissau, northern Cote-D’ivoire, a part of Burkina Faso, as well as a portion of Niger.

  2. The Mali empire was first founded by Sumahoro Kante, also known as the Blacksmith King. It is precisely because he was a blacksmith that the Manding would not recognize Sumahoro Kante's authority, and asked for Sunjata Keita to take over, and consolidate what Sumahoro Kante started.

  3. The AI art really adds some quality to this video. But lol I can't unsee the 6-legged Donkey faced Camel and the Camel with a Trunk!!
Are the arial shots that look like they are filmed 3d miniature models also AI or your doing? Because if they are hand made then they are excellent!!

  4. I’m a Jamaican trying to trace back my history and it looks like my ancestry has connections to Songhai, Mali, Ghana, Nubia, Kush and Egypt along with Taino from the native jamaican’s

  5. This, by the way, is history 101 for white folks. You obviously need an Anglish-speaking, adjective specialist to pad what we now know about Africa , the great. All of white culture, just found out about the history, the white culture did not want you to know.. Stop, and consider, how many countries, looted nations in Africa, and wouldn’t admit what they had stolen , so long ago.
Come down from that horse you rode in on.

  6. Waouh , this is awesome . Im an Ethiopian but my grandparents came to Mali and we never left . Seeing this about my second country it’s just amazing. And these images are just the right stuffs

  7. nice video but a correction needs to be made. the kings of mali were not considered divine. mali was an islamic empire and that would be considered a major sin to believe such. even sufi muslims would never dare to take on such a belief. Fun fact. im an african american who has 17% dna from mali. fun fact 2. as someone that has lived in egypt for 10 years, i have met a lot of people from mali that are students at al azhar university. they are nice people are generally know their history. fun fact 3. the movie the lion king is based on the first emperor of mali
