The makeup in this movie is too extreme, light, and unflattering. The actors don't need all of that to be beautiful.
This is a great movie and a very touching story. The young man and Chief's willingness to help a stranger in need was very heartwarming. The young man was especially giving because he had so little and took great risks to do so. At first, I was disappointed that Chief pushed her to marry him, but they grew to love each other. At least, he had nothing to do with the evil first wife. I wondered if the young man would leave his mean wife and then marry Chief's second wife after he died, but we never saw him again. It is amazing how wicked these people were because of their lust for money. It even took an action from Chief himself to get them to act properly at the funeral, and even that did not stop Chike from acting a fool. The second wife and the good daughter were victorious, but we did not get to see them in their new future lives. The sister showed a little regret. The mother was forced to regret but did not really show it. Chike never regretted anything he did despite the fact that he was incredibly selfish, heartless, cruel, and blind to his own shortcomings. He cared for nothing and no one except himself and whatever money he could waste. Arrogance and greed were his middle names. He learned nothing in life and did not deserve to get anything at all from his father. His father should have made anything he received be dependent upon conditions requiring him to work and show responsibility and climb the ladder of success from the bottom up. Chief's elder brother should have confessed to the family and Chief how money had briefly corrupted him. The good daughter was the voice of reason, morality, and responsibility, but it had no effect on Chike.
Wow a real interesting, splendid and educative movie Chizzy passed through hell but what was meant for someone no Matter what, it will happen, Simeon Ajaligo you are a good actress keep it up.
