  1. What about the batembuzi, kitara and babiito empires one of the mightest empires in uganda which Extended past uganda into most african great lakes regions

  2. What was that small "unclaimed" rhombus between Ankole and Buganda present between 1740 and 1896? Some smaller, less-notable chiefdom or is it just unknown who owned that territory?

  3. These videos about Uganda and Zanzibar made me realize how complex was actually the organization of the British Empire rather than just being "occupy and conquest"

  4. A couple nitpicks, Ankole wasn't formed until 1914, when ten minor kingdoms were merged into the new kingdom, with the largest, Nyabushozi, also called Nkore, assuming leadership. Also, the Buddu province of Buganda, wast of Kooki, extended into modern Tanzania until 1890, when the southern part Missenyi, was split off to become part of German East Africa. There were also ten small states in the Kigezi region west of Ankole, I don't know too much about them, but they ceased to exist before independence, and one of them, Bufumbira, was formerly a Rwandan vassal until 1910.
