And as ever, thanks for watching!

  2. May I make a suggestion for audio editing? Would you consider using a “de-esser” on the audio recording? Those highest frequencies are very strong and distracting from the content of the video.

  3. Its interesting how we are almost exclusively taught the jews were meant to be killed the whole time. Not that it changes what happened later, but its interesting they wanted to expel them first.

  4. The Madagascar plan didn't mean that they would have allowed us to survive it was intended that we wouldn't survive the travel or in getting there having absolutely nothing we would have starved to death. The same with the plan about sending us to Siberia.

  5. It was the radical palestinian mufti Al Husseini who comnvinced Adolf Hitler not to deport the Jews of Europe to Madagascar and back to their country of origin: the land of Israel.. this is unfortunately not mentioned in the video, Hitler knew that they originated in Israel but were chased and deported from their own land by several invavders: babylonians, greeks (they were the mildest), romans, muslims.. That is why so few Jews were in Israel in the later centuries.
In the meanwhile bedouins, arabs from the regions of what is now syria, oman, saudi arabia, nortg africans from egypt and east africans settled in the land of Israel. So while the Jews were forcefully moved out and sometimes fled away, muslims moved in…

  6. The price of being the most intelligent animals on earth is having to deal with those who thrive on evil. Good will always prevail however. The oppressed are not weak. Those close to evil who know better and choose to not stop it are who is weak. The right people in the right places and times could have prevented soo much horror. We still see things today that are horrific and concealed by religion and govt bullshit. As the world grows it will get better and those dictators and brutal world “leaders” will fall and be disgraced. Regardless of what you believe I ask only that you look at human life as number one. Does my side or belief warrant the taking of life. Many lives. Children’s lives. I am confident that you’ll find there is nothing that warrants that. Therefore we need to find alternatives to solve whatever the issue. You should never have to live in fear, be killed, or watch others be killed. None of us are given enough time on earth to spend it afraid or as a bad person or supporting harm. We are lucky to be alive. Each special. More than you know. Be a good person. Be kind. Be open minded. Love as much as you can. ❤

  7. A lot of this rhetoric toward the Jews sounds eerily similar to the way people talk about today’s refugees. Then we had Holocaust denial, much as we have people actively denying we’re seeing the current genocide in Gaza.

“Those who cannot remember the past are condemned to repeat it.”

  8. I have by no means read all the comments – I'm sure there must be others to this effect. But of the scores of comments I have read, not a single one addresses the opinions of the Malagasy people about the plan. It's their country, after all, and in many parts, resources (especially water) are very limited. Although it's large, it doesn't have near the vastness of Australia. Also, its climate is not easy on people from Europe.
My main gripe though, as an African with many Malagasy friends, is the total disregard, both in the historical proposals and in the comments here, of what the native Malagasy thought about the forced importation of hundreds of thousands of Europeans who were totally unequipped to survive there.

  9. I mean, it's still cruel to uproot people from their homes, but it would have been far better than what the Nazis actually did. It would have been interesting to see how that would have played out. The native people of Madagascar might not have been so welcoming themselves.

  10. i have been studying this for my a-level coursework- please note that it was highly likely that the Jews would’ve died during transportation or whilst residing due to various conditions. It is likely that Madagascar would’ve become the genocidal site.

  11. While I had been aware of the Nazis initially just wanting all Jews out of first Germany and then Europe, with other nations unwilling to take them in, and moving them to Madagascar as an easily isolated island, but not how often it was close to happening. Still deranged, but far preferable to what ultimately happened in our timeline. Alas.

  12. We narrowly survived 63 years of French occupation.

We would've never survived anything resembling the 1948 Nakba.

We were very fortunate in our misfortune, and that's the only reason why we're not suffering the Palestinians fate today.

  13. “The Jewish problem” wasn’t just a Nazi ideology it was shared by much of Europe where the Jewish population were persecuted and treated with suspicion. This includes Britain and particularly Arthur Balfour who was mentioned in the video. The British aliens act of 1905 by design was to keep undesirables like the Jewish population who were fleeing persecution to prevent them to the UK. European antisemitism has been pinned to the Nazis only. European colonies gave land that wasn’t theirs to give and here we are today, a direct result of European policies the Palestinian population in particular are paying the price for Nazi Genocide and now Europe supporting a new Genocide Gaza.

  14. No. Germany operated over 500 concentration camps, many of which had unique purposes. Adolf Eichmann was the main promoter and intellectual architect for The Final Solution. Madagascar and any other banter you hear were smoke and mirrors to jockey Europe into the camps system. No.1 motive was greed. Money to be made in an almost infinite number of ways. Even Oskar Schindler understood this, and flipped it to save his bunch. No 2. was the lust for cruel power. No. 3 was racial hatred. The Madagascar proposals were just sportstalk and doubletalk by the Nazi heavys.
