  2. It is debatable who really was the first female ruler, as the line between true pharaoh, regent and co ruler can be very blurred at times. It can be argued that it was Merneith of the first dynasty around 2950 BC due to her having a full sized pharaoh tomb

  3. Isso aconteceu sempre no Egito e em outras nações Antigas de poder, muitos reis e faraós eram mulheres..a sociedade e dinastias são livres para ter revelar isso..

  4. I never heard of her until now, thank the Gods of Egypt (and this channel) for my discovery of the first Queen of this type in the zenith of the patriarchy!

  5. If you take a glance at any of the Amenhemats you will see they are very african. For all upset at the queens picture.

  6. Pharaoh Neferusobek statue's nose was dynamited or destroyed because primitive racist archaeologists wanted to erase her BLACKNESS similarly, modern primitive makers of this documentary are again whitening and lightening her skin tone so as to confuse amateurs of her BLACKNESS
all Egyptian pharaohs were and are BLACK including ptolemies who turned black the moment they became Egyptian

  7. TAKE YOUR WOKE 21ST CENTURY LENS YOU PUT ON KEMET HERE AND SHOVE IT! WOMEN WERE EXTREMELY IMPORTANT IN KEMETIC SOCIETY AND WERE DEIFIED AS SUCH! TAKE THIS INVENTED SEXISM OF ANCIENT SOCIETIES AND FLUSH IT!

  8. The fact she ruled for only 4 years, how did she d*e? was she m*rdered?
Surely there were a lot of people who would want to remove her from the throne, to put someone else.

Throughout history when women got positions of power, people tried to use that to put another man in power. Being a King you already had a big target on your back and had to keep an eye out for backstabbers, but being a woman you faced twice the danger. This happened to powerful women like Joan D'arc who was betrayed and handed over to the enemy. The first thing that started going bad during your reign they'd use that to rally the masses or political figures against you, to weaken your image and popularity 🙄

But thankfully the years she reigned were enough to immortalize her name in History, and her incredibly important role as the first woman Pharaoh 😌

  9. Incest in ancient Egypt was more just for show, the woman’s offspring would usually have a different biological father, the queen (or female pharaoh if she’s in power and not her husband) has probably multiple Paramour, (male equivalent of a mistress) and one of these men would likely be the biological father but of course don’t hold any parental rights

  10. I cannot imagine the concept of incest. It is illogical, apart from anything else. Little wonder that there is an abudance of child coffins in the tombs of these chronically incestuous rulers.

  11. The descendants of the Mamluks cannot claim Egyptian civilization.

France, through the Egyptology that it manipulates, has given courage to the Arabs to claim a history that is not theirs.
Their history is ISLAM and MECCA.
    The pyramids are for Africans

  12. I have never understood why People had problems with female rulers. Specially in ancient times. Gods can be female, but on earth they can not rule?
