Pakistani here~💚 Growing up almost everyone here were encouraged by our mums to use castor oil for eyelashes. We all swear by castor oil and pure surma that it stimultes eyelash growth. Plus it helps with dry eyes and cracked heals.
I mix mine with cayenne pepper, only burns the eyes a touch when washing of but brings the blood to the skin and then does all the things above that Dr Bergs just said

Putting it on eyelids. Eye pain gone. Actually I think it penetrates the lid an treats dry eye effectively. Surprisingly thick oil but not oily because it does not sit on the skin. It affectively penetrates and disappears into the skin. Use 100% cotton clothing or pads as Ive read it will pull in synthetics in with it. We dont want that. Thats why it should only be sold in glass bottles.

I started using organic, hexane free and cold pressed pure castor oil in my eyes about a year ago. I have had so many eye problems due to a chronic long term illness. The castor oil drops for my eyes has helped so much. Even my doctor could see the benefit.
My skin broke out from it and it burned my eyes so I'm not too sure about this new holy grail product 😏

Why black castor oils is black?? is it cold pressed, non refined oil? I have a lot of plants and seeds!! How difficult would it be to press the seeds and extract the oil??

Doesn’t the face get hairy with castor oil?
I have blepharitis, or just flakes of skin at the base of my lashes. I used eyelid scrubs but I couldn't get them off. After watching this video and reading comments, I rubbed castor oil onto my eyelids and lashes before bed. The next morning I woke up and the bases of my lashes were completely clear and the flakes were now sitting at the tips of the lashes, ready to be brushed off! I didn't know it could do this as I was aiming to treat another eye condition, but it's amazing and I'll do it from now on. I'm thinking that this works with other oils too.
As a 56yo female, I started using castor oil on my sunspots, eyelids/brows/lashes and my hair line a couple of months ago and on a couple of arthritic joints. For the rest of my face, neck and joints that had wrinkly skin, I add aloe gel, olive oil, rosehip oil and coconut oil. Sometimes I'll also add lavender or another essential oil. Slowly but surely seeing a difference 😊
Is there something you can mix with castor oil to thin it out and make it last longer because when I put it on my face it's too thick and it doesn't go on good and it makes my skin sensitive

Does castor oil not make your hair greasy??
I’ve been using castor oil off and on for a few months now, but at the beginning of March I decided to use it every day on my face, hands and the belly button method. I’m 44 and blessed with pretty good genes so I don’t have a lot of wrinkles yet, but my hands were looking less than youthful and always dry. After 20 straight days of using it on my hands, they are almost back to youthful! The bags under my eyes are diminished and my face looks and feels so much smoother! As for using it in my belly button, I’ve noticed that I’m more regular and it’s easier to go. I’ve also noticed a reduction in bloating and I’m noticing I’m having less aches and pains in general. I’m a total believer!
