The Family Who Crushed Chopin's Heart ๐
Chopinโs broken engagement to Maria Wodziลska was his first major heartbreak. Though the blow mightโve been softened if only her family had been more straightforward with their intentionsโฆ

I still haven't forgiven her.
"According to the Chopin Institute in Warsaw there is no written proof for" . . . any of this.
Underrated channel
Beautiful work๐โค
Chopin really only loved George Sand. Her children destroyed their relationship. Maurice hated Chopin for fear of his mom marrying Chopin affecting his inheritance, and Solange had a "thing" for Chopin that George noticed and resented.
A wonderfully informative post. Beautifully and sensitively read. I think Chopin's music says it all.
Lovely video. Have just subscribed. Thanks, from Greece.
good fairy tale. Chopin was gay. he was the most sought after man in Europe but he never had a physical relationship with any woman. he had a psydo cover relationship with Georges Sand. Sand states in her writings that there wasn't a physical relationship between them, she was a mother to him. Sands had several relations with heterosexual men while she was in a supposed relationship with Chopin. Chopin never had a physical relationship with any woman, but professed his love for a Polish childhood friend, Tytus Woyciechowski. this love letter has been hushed up because people are offended at the thought Chopin was gay. you can read the letter in any book containing Chopin's letters. Chopin was well aware that being gay would have been a death sentence- even for a famous person. Oscar Wilde was put in prison for 2 years for being gay- it didn't matter how famous you were.
This 2 week production is very out of date we know now that Chopin was gay because we found all his love letters to men a gay man can be close to women but the real reason why it was heartbreaking was that Chopin was gay and he never wanted to marry any woman also the woman that played the biggest role in his life is George Sand but the relationship was an abusive one and the reason why Chopin was so sick it's because he was suffering from tuberculosis he got around :32 and died at age 39 false biographies like this make me and the rest of the lgbtq community very angry trying to write us out of existence and also it doesn't tell the real story story what about talking about how Chopin was was suffering over hiding being gay? The true story is way more interesting and relatable
I'm so glad that your latest video is the most viewed one on your channel! ๐
I have to wonder who fabricates things like this and their agenda?
Chopin was gay! For those that do Real research this is well known! But there are those in power positions who do not want the facts supporting this expressed!!!
Chopin reveals his love of men in secret letters he wrote that have been supressed!
I had read somewhere that George Sand had somehow indirectly interfered in the happy relationship between Maria & Chopin. Regretfully, i do not recall what Aurora wrote to his Maria's mother โ or where i read about it โ but it stung enough to remain in my mind. (If anyone reading this knows of the details, please adviseโฆ)
Redpill comunity need to read these letters, they will laugh their a**es off.
Friends or loved ones?
Incredible work and content for this creative historical video drama reconstruction. Would you be Polish maybe to have such great access and understanding of his life. I am French and found everything perfectly as i imagined it based on my own research on Chopin. Especially i felt the correct atmosphere through the painting, the Parisian apartment, the London visit, the German encounters. It was perfect, from someone who is usually a harsh critic.
Chopin was friendzoned by Maria, the most dreadful coward behavior women have when they don't have romantic feelings for a man that wants them. Although it is clear her mother left her no choice. To all young women who read this, know that men prefer by far to be given a rational reason for rejecting us, no matter how humiliating, it at least soothe the mind (not the heart) to know that at least there is a rational reason for it. Instead women do the worse they assume their reasons are a private matter and won't share it to the one they reject, it's like taking away the masculinity of a man, leaving him guessing forever if it was this, that or the other about him and not knowing, means no possibility of improving and working on it. This is one reason that men realize women are not rational and must be handled by lure and stratagems and then women complain how they are treated by men. For good reasons !
I want to speak medically about Chopin so called poor health. His health problem was not due to his constitution or genetics at all. He simply caught the pneumonia bacteria at a young age and it undermined his life. His immune system had to constantly fight an infection it could not beat. And like many others in history who were deemed of having a poor hereditary health in their genes, it's a false idea. They only were unfortunate that a disease vector entered their body. It's bad luck and life's underestimated factor is luck.
There's one thing I don't understand. At 04:30 into the video it mentions the inscription "Hommage a Mlle M.W." but when I look at Chopins manuscript of Op. 18 on IMSLP there is written "dediรฉ ร Mlle Laura Horsford".
amazing video
Damn, those women played my boy Chopin a nasty one. But this story is not unlike any other love story. A man becomes enamored of a delicate young women, things go well until the manโs heart is broken for one reason or the other.
Teresa, Ah Teresa! she forgot we are human, not beings of class and society. In the end she proved to be on the side of superficiality. And for Chopin, my boy, donโt trust in pretty young women, they are quite enchanting, arenโt they? but they are foolish, their heart canโt be trusted, they will just follow what they are told to do, they donโt have will of their own. Who wants a women like that?
Chopin on the other hand was quite independent, had his own life and made his own decisionsโฆ Not a good suit for him anyway.
i wonder if op 48 no 1 was inspired by these events
Chopin was at least bisexual
Lore of The Family Who Crushed Chopin's Heart ๐ momentum 100
Thank you for this wonderful video! Chopin had such bad luck with his love but maybe thatโs why his music is so romantic ๐
The family was right. Chopin would make a lousy husband for their daughter. He was of feeble health and, as is hypothesized today, suffering cystic fibrosis, a condition that made him infertile and sickly, also doomed to die by 40, which he did! Although reasonably affluent, he was not rich, and might not have been able to maintain their daughter in the style she was accustomed to. He suffered financial difficulties towards the end of his life when his productivity crashed.
So Maria lived to 77 years old without a heir. Anything she left for the world has to do with Chopin: her painting of him, her relationship with him, whereas Chopin lived a much shorter but more fulfilled creative life and enriched humanity. She probably thought about her youthful days with much regret?
So touching and well done!
Poor Chopin. Nothing is worse than the heart of an artist being crushed, but at times, it does grow their artโฆ
After 5 Months
I had been waiting for this channel all my life
Wow. What a watch. The betrayal he felt from the family, that he couldโve marry into, is something I really connected with and understand. I had experienced something similar as well. I used to love this thing fervently, and yet, I couldnโt continue pursuing the passion I used to enjoy, because I was betrayed by certain people, and I couldnโt continue on without feeling bitterness.
Nothing else filled that void, and certain topics brings me back to the bitter times; it may have been like that for Chopin, despite finding a lover after Maria. Maybe he also felt incomplete and unfulfilled inside even after marrying. And when they argued, he may have been reminded about Maria and felt sad. Poor chap.
I donโt want to make assumptions about how he felt or how he processed grief, but my heart goes out to the composer. I offer my deepest condolences.
These paintings are wonderful. I wish the description had references.
MARHABAN YA RAMADHAN.

This is so well created, well researched and incredibly presented! A joy to watch!
