Still need agriculture, one thing cannot function without the other.everything is a chain
Excellent discussion, but someone please tell the Kenyan representation over there that knowledge-based economy does not mean QUITTING 'conventional' economies like agriculture that they keep citing all through. Agriculture can also be modernized and driven by technology. We cannot run away from agriculture. I would like to hear from them how we are going to leverage technology to improve our agriculture manifolds. When all is said and done, we feed ourselves from the farm produce. All the techies working and studying and living in Konza will not be feeding on computer motherboards and fiber-optics. Wherever we innovate, we MUST mainstream modernized tech-based agriculture. If we fail to do so, we will spend all the monies we make as employees in Konza to import GMOs from western world. I will look out for Tanui and Okwiri to deepen the discussion or get an interview.
