The foundations began on the lands of England, with a powerful British Monarchy igniting an extraordinary story of exploration and world domination.
The British Empire saw the greatest stories of human achievement and triumph.
But also saw the worst sides…

  1. We always say in Africa and the Middle East:
If two fishes are killing each other at the bottom of a lake, and you throw a hook: you will always catch an Englishman! England's the main source of all human conflicts (except Churchill)…

  2. I find at the heart of misunderstanding is misinformation, a lack of high education and intelligence regarding claims being stated propaganda being espoused by persons who use all this erroneous talk and arguments to accuse a great people who have held the high ground in terms of being the most civilized and just and merciful people on the planet of doing terrible things to areas of the world consumed with violence and tendencies that created oppression on their own people s. Hence Great Britian's actually improved the lives the people they ruled. 😊

  3. When exactly was Scotland part of England? The red map after a few seconds shows 'England' as the entire island in red. You did well on slavery too, a massive 26 seconds before you mentioned it. Are you American or A.I?

  4. Couple of things wrong. How do you not mention the Norman conquest of Britain. Henry the 6th didn’t win war of the roses. Britain didn’t invent slavery nor start the slave trade. That was already happening all over the world.

  5. As a white red blooded englishman living in England. It makes me very proud of the empire…. all the males in my family past have served in the British army and still do to this day. Its in our D&A to fight for gods country 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 make great Britain great again 🇬🇧

  6. You all ought give some attention to revitalizing and structuring a more sufficient historical record. The historical malnourishment caused by the Romanticization of historical figures ( by this I allude to the idolization of historical leaders as the means by which the historical record is conveyed in the educational indoctrination facilities ) causes a subsequent and real malaise; a degradation not only of the historical figures themselves, yet of the historical peoples and the record thereof as a whole. The overemphasis on historical leadership, without any substance to the pertinent worldviews or tribulations within the daily lives of the people, leads people to have a vapid view of our ancestors.

" Romanticization " here intends that you have characterized the leadership of centuries passed focusing upon character flaws and triumphs, rather than the more vital substantive motivations of those individuals and the people whom they led. This ceaseless reiteration of a failure to transmit the historical record with honor brutally forces the modern individual to look upon contemporary leadership with destain; the absence of knowledge, regarding the pertinent cares of the average and common persons compounds the deficits and exacerbates the illnesses caused by this malnourishment.

Basely focusing upon kings and generals, presidents and personal details ( with a few political details chosen to curate a heavy handed agenda to serve in the crafting of modern world-views ), rather than giving a more extensive and insightful perspective, regarding the events and tribulations, not only those of the leaderships' perspective, yet also from the perspective of the common person ( as well as a more comprehensive understanding of the ideas, thought matrixes, concepts and world-views of all within those times and of clashing Governments, the same) —

Rather, what is forced in the educational indoctrination facilities are vein, vapid, shallow and facile perspectives, half mixed with personal details dramatizing the importance and significance of history; that through a crude interpretation of events filters and pollutes the lives of those individuals, ( who we deem leaders ) and entirely neglects the lives of the peoples, in essence and effect. This Dramatized and Romanticized version of the historical record fails justice and causes deathly disaffection within the Populace Zeitgeists– leading to a cultural miasma and a spiritual malaise:

Which determines in the worst case that our leaders are, and have been, more than half befuddled and unsuited to lead retrospectively; and in the better case, a lackadaisical dopy fantasized daydream that grips the minds and hearts of any willing to care, captive and no less starved. The former, and worse, is projected onto leadership contemporaneously, and forms an unconscious expectation that leaders in general are unfit to rule men and women ( whether elected within Democratic systems, or otherwise ); subsequently, persons are less willing to guard against corruption; for the belief that corruption is ubiquitous, omnipotent and omnipresent; while the latter, and better, crafts within those so fooled a sense of awe struck grandiosity and some sorrowfully pleasant concession that leaders too are people, that dazes along into the merest semblance of introspection regarding one's self and one's own life; how harrowing their character traits, and difficult to judge the deficits of leaders ( " Why of course not; how could I " )–

Axiomatizing in the worst case through ramifications, thence afterward, is determined that such an anti-corruption day is nothing more than a farcical dark dystopian humor from a cruel, removed, and hateful wealthy supposed elite, who have some sense that mocking the persons inevitably beneath their apparently indominable power is some neo-Victorian dark humor. ( ah ah ah ) And! In the better case, axiomatizing that God appoints the Government; and how things could have been worse; or further, we shan't complain over things well settled and far beyond our reach to attain, either to affect. Consequently, such, both case are dire! and dangerously unjust!

  7. Miles per gallon is poor.

Dual carriageway driving mostly achieves approx 35 mpg, that’s on a 1.5 tsi automatic when averaging 70 miles per hour. If I drive at a steady 56mph can just get above 40 miles per gallon.

Bought a new one late 2023 expecting better economy and I’m not a quick driver by the way.

The cylinder deactivation must be for eco ticking boxes (it switches to running on 2 cylinders). Hard to achieve and maintain. Just touch the gas when it’s operational it reverts to 4 cylinder activity.

Quite nice interior but rattle on door card sometimes, and also plastic trim around digital display where odometer/speedometer is displayed.
    Disappointed a bit…🙁

  8. You people need to read the US constitution! How can you call us a democracy when we’re actually a republic??? Madison explicitly left out the word or the concept of a democracy from our constitution! Everybody knows a democracy leads to anarchy! So no one on the planet chooses democracy!

  9. This is wrong, the Spanish armada did not retreat and sale straight back home, they got caught in storms inside the English channel and got lost, they saled north,up towards Scotland and around northern Ireland and down past the Republic of Ireland and lost many ships along the way,if you're going to inform people about history, its got to be factual correct
