With reference to the migrants and crossings – The French government and authorities are not helping either and are actually making matters worse. They've collected hundreds of millions of pounds from the UK to help tackle the problem (which they are somewhat doing) but in honesty, they don't want the migrants either – if they'd wanted to help, they would have provided food, shelter, jobs, opportunities but they've left them on the side of the road, in camps, for YEARS! This has been the case through many of the EU countries that they've travelled through, so is it any wonder they want to come to the UK where someone will actually help them?
The EU can wag it's finger and chastise us for turning them away or trying to enforce border control, but they're totally guilty and totally complicit in this – because they haven't lifted a finger to help and they haven't even attempted to look after these people. Sure, they occasionally virtue signal and take in refugees and make a big song and dance about it (Ukraine being an example) but on a day-to-day basis and for the vast majority of people, of migrants, they get NOTHING from the EU apart from moved on, shipped on, because no single country wants to take responsibility for them or help them – hence, they end up in the UK where they might, just might have a fighting chance.
The EU for all it's human rights and charters, is an absolute disgrace.

Its not racist to say that illegal immigration is out of control and needs stopping. Compleatly spits in the face of those who waited and went the proper immigration route.
Just curious why we're painting the protests/riots in the UK as far right racists but when BLM did it during a lockdown it was portrayed as "mostly peaceful protesting". Bearing in mind BLM then had crowdfunds to bail rioters out of jail and people in the UK were jailed for being present but not rioting and have not had the same bail fund allowed.
Just curious why it's fine to accept people breaking your country's law to enter your country and then them being given priority treatment and the population's money makes you far right. Bearing in mind they've crossed a very large number of safe countries to get to your country. At that point you're not a refugee, you're moving house. You're doing it illegally. Where are the women and children doing it. Why is it all young men.
Just curious why we're uncomfortable with the hatred of aspects of cultures that hate you. Bearing in mind we've had decades of issues in the UK with certain people grooming children and it being completely ignored by authorities because heaven forbid anyone be called racist. Heaven forbid anyone look at crime statistics and the predominant cultures of the people inside prisons, who are now being released early to make way for people that are calling for accountability for all of the above being an issue.
There was nothing clandestine about breaking into lorries to then break into a country. They posted about it on social media. Did it in broad daylight. And for some reason they were still allowed in and paid for by the people actually doing something.

The way you talk down about the rioters makes you sound like a Londoner-lite, but I appreciate the various perspectives of the interviewees and the acknowledgement of what it ultimately boils down to– class and money.
"Patriotism that functions as a means to exclude people is worthless." — patriotism is inherently exclusionary. Every descriptor, every category is inherently exclusionary. Inclusive patriotism would be the old Britain owning the world; an open, unlimited invitation to move in (even on the condition of being a true refugee) is national suicide, not any kind of patriotism. You cannot fit every poor, sick, or hungry person into one nation and expect to care for them all, let alone doing so while maintaining any semblance of a "standard of living" for citizens (native or naturalized).
"If it causes your empathy to die once it hits a border or coastline, then it is diminishing you as a human being."– When the subject of your empathy hits you, whether it is in your or your countrymen's literal or figurative faces, or in the budget of the country you pay taxes to and expect services from, enough times to significantly degrade the quality of your life, will you care more about "diminishing as a human being" or your ability to seek food, shelter, and medical care? The empathy of people with less resources is more easily killed.
You can piece together a wonderful rainbow made of various shades of grey when you interview individual people, but mass movements, significant events, and laws are often limited to black and white appearances, on the surface. It's all green, underneath, if you'll forgive the Americanism.

What is the saddest about this video is that it tries to get to the bottom of the issue and show a nuanced perspective, which could open the door for genuine conversations about these issues, only for so many comments to go on the same pessimistic and accusatory rants to shut down comments from the other side.

A retrospective glance at this video in the light of what was uncovered recently about muslim immigrant gangs grooming, gang raping, and murdering young girls (13 years and below) though out major cities in the UK, makes one a bit more reluctant when considering allowing immigrants into the country. Shame really, give a man sanctuary and he rapes your daughters.
This guy is a modern day bard. I almost shed a tear for the British and I'm Bengali. 😂. They absolutely RUINED my nation😂. But this guy represents Britain at their best. People that often aren't mindless brutes capable of the worst unlike their European brethren (I think it's due to them being generally disconnected from the mainland). I don't usually comment, but I just wanted to say I found this documentary extremely moving. As a long-time viewer, it has been incredible to watch this channel evolve. I recently showed some of my (somewhat closed-minded) family members your 2019 video about the moon for a laugh. Plenty of laughs were had. Then I come home and watch this masterpiece. I think I will show them this next.
That is to say: this channel has not just the best (only) song about moon conspiracies, but also the hottest film on the topic of immigration I have ever seen.

They literally believe they're seeing crime and injustice everywhere they're visiting. Chemtrails in the sky as they're driving. Go to the beach: illegal crossing in progress right in front of them. Immigrant with stolen clothing and jewelry accosting women as they're waiting for Ordinary Things. Are any of those things actually happening? Probably not. But that doesn't matter. They live in a 90s movie and vote as if John Spartan hasn't yet shown up to save the day but totally will as soon as you vote the right way.

I mean what is the answer though? There are probably 10s of millions of people that would want to Migrate to Europe, if not 100s, But They can't it would destroy Europe as an Entity.
Many of them are fleeing unstable or corrupt dictatorships. and will never return.
Europe is no longer in control of Africa and the Middle east. there is no way to stabilize the countries where they people are coming from (Foreign aid is often used to just fuel the same corrupt government)
Its unfair to legal migrants, and its un-fair to citizens for them to carry the burden of every country less messed up than theirs.
I personally think there should be no foreign aid to any country that isn't a non-corrupt democracy. And probably just no foreign aid full stop.
And Asylum, and refugees/ and migrants should basically be kept at a minimum especially if its from a nation that doesn't have strong ties that they want to migrate to.
