I don't know why this video offends me but many things he is talking about are exaggerated and are lies, a large percentage of the population speaks English or at least can communicate in English.

Dominican republic is really nice and the people are so amazing and the country is so beautiful but I feel like they are really lack in education and history because some of the people they idolize are really terrible people. all those white statues they have and monuments even though their own people were the one who fight the most for their freedom, but I haven’t seen not even one statue about one Dominican person. All the monuments and statues are all white men

You didn’t tell the real history with Haiti. Not all but many Dominicans do not love their African roots. So you as an African can have a good vacation but live there and they won’t love you.
The women of the DR are some of the most beautiful in the world. This was an excellent video and I’m looking forward to visiting the country in the next couple of years.
