  1. Am 20 years old and I have youtube and whatsapp only on my phone
2 years ago i decided to be honest with myself about the pressure I was getting from Facebook and Instagram so i deleted them before it got too late

  2. The issues is terrible I agree. I think most look for the quick way to “fame” or “wealth” instead of doing something with their lives. Reality tv was the beginning of quick fame. People confuse being famous with being infamous.
In an interview with Cindy Crawford the report has her latest cover and asked what is it like looking like Cindy Crawford and point to the cover. She replied I wish looked like that, the magazines alter it that even someone that beautiful is alter. But that’s on the magazine, not the model. With social media they are crafting themselves and I can’t imagine what it must feel like to hate the way you look so much for the fast ticket fame. It’s really sad and shallow know that everything about you, your life, experience is a lie. Their lives are make believe and at the end of you have nothing.
Wish I had the answers on how to fix this. Enjoy living and your life.. you are all amazing.

  3. Money, attention and your healthy appearance, are SYMPTOMS of your successful life, but these deluded wastes of space are chasing the symptoms instead of the success.

Problem is we seem to have an organised establishment, kind of run like a mafia, who elevate these false prophets to higher levels they do not deserve.
Perhaps this is why we used to have religion?
Or why we need other ways of rewarding those who contribute positively to our society OVER those who have corrupted us while chasing their vapid & selfish behaviours.
After all, it is degenerate we have our hardest workers paid so little, while actors are paid more than you'll spend a lifetime and all they do is play their type-casted charicature.

  4. Funny fact, I am a digital marketer, so I use social media all the time at work. But I understand how harmful social media truly is. Yes, it’s good for businesses because it can help them grow, but it is personally mentally damaging. Life would be much simpler without social media.

  5. Influencers have always existed. Since the days of Saturday Morning cartoons to Instagram. If there is an audience, theres a market for corporations and companies to sell products to

  6. As far as I can recall, the concept of "fake" has been prevalent throughout history, particularly in the modeling industry. From the 1950s to the present day, both male and female models have often presented an artificial image.

Furthermore, the prevalence of "fake news" and the questionable credibility of mainstream media have contributed to a society where many individuals no longer prioritize distinguishing between truth and falsehood. It appears that this trend is unlikely to change in the foreseeable future.

  7. I liked this video. Good editing, and I liked your script. I feel for the younger generations because at least when most media consumed was tv and movies, we knew it was fake. But the whole thing with influencers is that they are supposed to be “real” and “relatable”. Kids and teens would probably be better off not being on social media at all.

  8. This is why I don’t have social media anymore. My explore page was filled with fat asses and one day I saw myself developing into a raging horny bastard. I had to get out of there. Felt better since

  9. The harm is also when people feel the need to change their bodies e.g. getting fillers, enhancing calf muscles/abs, BBLs or taking certain medications like the one for diabetes treatment to loose weight rapidly, the Kim K did. Some of these procedures are dangerous, not to mention very expensive to get and to maintain.

  10. I believe that social media thriving has been brought about by the need of attention which is as a result of societal changes from the 1980s onwards. Children were brought up in homes where parents were working and didn't get enough attention so they miss the early attention and love that children need while growing up, creating a void that needs to be filled, which results in them seeking to fill the void by looking for attention and acceptance online. I know I'm 100% spot on.

  11. I don't know why people feel they MUST be on social media. Dear reader of this comment. It's not a MUST to be on social media. Your life will be better without it. I came off all social media in 2014. I don't even have WhatsApp on my phone. It's a better and more natural life.

  12. A pornstar and a social media influencer are on the same fish swimming in different waters, trying to define which one is better is basically arguing which fish is swimming in the best quality of water.

  13. If a grown woman that takes pictures of herself with her iphones 📱 a model then guys who play 2K & Madden are athletes & men who play Call of Duty are military veterans

  14. I really believe women need attention more than air…..The crazy thing is 99.9% of the attention that straight women crave, they seek ftom other women……The wigs, 9 inch nails, expensive 👜, and even the BBL's,Lipo, and breast implants they get are all to impress other women. If men like it/ dislike it they really didn't do it for us in the 1st place

  15. Fake influencers are the most evil and narcissistic individuals. The lifestyle they advertise doesn't even have substance why would human beings be influenced by such. I guess we are hypnotized by european capitalism. Insecurities will be the death of us.

  16. Social media has created a bunch false idols for worship. The people wishing to look like influencers don’t realize that their favorite influencer are all trying to look like someone else themselves. Is ironic 😩🤦🏾‍♀️
