The roads of Thailand are considered to be among the deadliest on the planet : 24 000 Thais lost their lives in 2016 as a result of a road accident, and 73% of them were motorcyclists. With such a high number of victims, the paramedics of the city of Bangkok are on the alert. In Benin, almost not a day goes by without fatal traffic accidents….

  1. Je pense que votre enquête n'est plus d'actualité. Je vous invite à revenir à Cotonou afin de comprendre que la ville dépasse depuis 9ans certaines villes de la sous-région. Tant en économie qu'en infrastructures de toutes sortes.

  3. 7:00 700 people per year is far from shockingly high, first of all. And second of all it's rather 3.200 people per year in 2019.
    And thirdly, how do you come up with 66/day in Bangkok @ 9:15? Oh, I know, that was during a 7 day period at new year 2019. But that was an extreme record. Shame on your journalism!

  5. Okay, I can understand why people who have never been to Thailand misunderstand why Thailand is dangerous. Thailand is one of the top tourist destinations in the world. If it was the most dangerous country in the world, people would not want to come.

  6. In Thailand, when you have an accident, rescue workers will rush to the accident scene and take the injured person to the nearest hospital. The medical expenses will be claimed from the insurance company of that car, but the injured person must have a driver's license.
