  1. aquos should have gotten S tier. that's a damn pretty phone right there
i gotta get my hands on one
it would be really funny to have a tv show have the characters just use one of the lower tier phones as prop phones for an inside joke, lol

  2. I actually daily drive a surface duo. I haven't had any issues with since getting it (I bought it used). The back glass is fragile and so is the plastic next to the port, but otherwise it has been perfect.

  3. I don't mind an external dac if it's good. I have a huge class H power amp for my home soud system with a fiio btr5, the imput sounds almost as good as from my mixing table

  4. Sponsor segments in the middle always affects content, makes you think of advertising before the expectations from the thumbnail & title is reached.

Ph1 really felt like it could be the iPhone of Android, haven't felt that from another company since, the premium build, design, support, and limited no. of models was really interesting, not to mention the excellent name. Really odd win in branding and design followed by total failure.

  5. I agree with most rankings except the surface duo should be higher just for how sleek and futuristic feeling it was and the LG Wing being higher due to its innovation and potential use as an emulation machine. The software was always the biggest issue which is why we get such boring phones now, because that's what Android devs would gear the OS to naturally, it's the software limiting the creativity of the hardware and that sucks.

  6. Lol I still use a surface pro duo as a tablet with a stylus. Its huge, has a stylus and has a terrible camera. that screams tablet to me. also I picked it up for $200 new off amazon. $200 for a quality tablet with cellular and stylus capability? done.

PS apple just announced the new IPad pro with a 5.1 mm form factor. unfolded the surface duo is still slimmer at 4.9mm. suck it apple your tablet is still thicker than an android. (don't at me I know the duo is way less powerful than the new M4 chip)

  7. I actually had the Blackberry Priv for 7 consecutive years as my daily driver. I mainly switched to a newer phone because of the battery completely dying at some point and because of the remaining android 6.
But I always say: this was the absolute peak form-factor for a phone and if one day (preferable blackberry) some manufacturer is making a vertical sliding android phone with top-tier performance, you can surely count me as first guy who's gonna preorder it!
