DISCLAIMER: This video was filmed before I had seen the videos of the mistreatment of the Horses in Egypt. You will also see me go on a horse during my pyramids video, but trust me now I am fully aware and the last thing you should do is participate in this!
I'm showing you the world for what it is and in Egypt horses are still used as a primary form of Transportation and especially in small towns. I will talk more about this in future videos, but this was filmed on my second day in the country and I was unaware. I have no education at all about horses and don't know a damn thing about whips or the proper care for one, or how to even properly steer one. So please enjoy the video, but yes be aware of this and please don't participate when you visit! β€
Egypt is awesome the most generous helpful friendly people.
10:05 πππππππ
Well this started a bit strange with mr. Sahid, the second part was even wors when he asked him to close his phone. But at the and he didn't get kidnappedπ
Egypt was hella safe but we did have a gard with us the whole time with a machine gun under his coat the whole 10 days hahaha
The guy is sketchy
π don't be delusional. Whether you want to believe it or not, nobody like America.
wowπ
From the aspect of the video, it only looks like he is tapping the horse. Whipping would be far, far, far more harder and harsher than that. The horse has a thick hide and probably just barely feels that. When riding a horse, you are tapping them in the side with your feet to let them know you want them to go. You're not kicking them by any means.
Regardless, it's probably best not to go by hearsay and do some thorough research to be better informed. A lot of people will just tell you what they want you to believe; and even when researching, you can encounter bias.
4:23 how dare you ask Ramses if he does tours.
Dear, a good trip. We were honored to have you in Egypt. I am Egyptian, but I did not like these exploitative people. There are people who exploit you and do not know how to guide you to tourist places well. You have to communicate with a specialist or someone who knows English well in order to guide you well. Happy trip from Egypt πͺπ¬πͺπ¬
That whole interaction from around 3:00 with that creepy dude just gave me anxiety
You rode with the boy and you know that he is young and this cart he uses to make his living and he is afraid that you will not pay him. It is clear that some tourists did harmful things to him. I hope that the child is fine.
Chris you are a positive spirit πΈπ·πnice video as usual
egypt is cool and beautiful i like it
Great tour, thnx Chris
cool vlog, but i would have not made it that big of a deal for the kid on the horse whether you gonna pay him 15 or 20 bucks, they are your content and this money is still nothing for helping out the poor, also with the guy in the end kinda did him dirty by saying he tried to sell you a tour, come on Chris youre a foreigner and these guys make almost nothing a day thats his work ,think with us
People from the west side of America are really Canadian in core … nice and apologetic.. i can only imagine a newyorker in your place would go loco… come back soon Chris.

lol that carriage ride with the kid was so funny. It would have made me so anxious being on the road with all the cars π
Almathaf Almasry is not marhaba, lol it is the Egyptian museum.

Take care Chrisπ·
You too nice be careful because they do anything to ripp you off
I stood on that bridge Qasr El Nil two months before their revolution when the cops/military were using fire hoses on the people.
πthis was funny
Poor horse why do they whip it π’π’
I just returned from 17 days in Egypt, had the most amazing trip. Saw so many amazing places and learnt so much. But, the Egyptianβs do get under your skin..! They could be their own worst enemy for the future of tourism.
