  2. This is very scary. I was induced at Kathleens mother and baby clinic.
Not only that but i had severe Hyperemesis Gravidarum and the one midwife working there told me to just take a walk and ill feel better. Also told me im so ill because my body isnt accepting the pregnancy. I went to a private doctor who told me my son was measuring small and i was severely dehydrated and my ketones were very high. All was ignored at Kathleens. I still gave birth there as i did not have medical aid and was desperate to avoid the government hospital during COVID.
Its scary to know that this could have been my babies fate.

  3. Im not sure why someone would choose a home birth. Thee amount of complication that can occur before, during and after birth can fill up a book…. its such a bad idea im not sure why any health practitioner ciuld even suggest it.

  4. Births whether natural or C section are risky, but why go to a birthing centre if they is no Doctor on stand by like in Hospitals ? Why leave things to chance. I delivered in a hospital and when the baby was getting distressed, a Doctor was called immediately! Been in a facility with a Doctor in the immediate vacinity is always safer

  5. I keep seeing this every where, more often. The thing is, what if there's an emergency? C-secttion, whatever. A mid-wife can not help you. My baby died at birth 6 months ago, due to this reason. I'm pregnant again, thank Jesus Christ. I wish I could warn every pregnant women against mid-wives. Our government hospitals are excellent at maternity. I dispies midwifes

  6. In my opinion the parents should be held accountable. They don’t have the funds to give birth in the hospital, they use the excuse that the mid wife is better than hospital. But common sense will get you far in life. Obviously the mid wife doesn’t have the knowledge or equipment compared to the hospital.

  7. With Kethleen it's all about money, she always pushed for "did you pay?". We lost our R15k over nothing. She did not call for an ambulance but told my husband and I to drive to Joburg Gen after administering these pills with my water having broken for hours.

  8. Why isn't she arrested? These regulatory bodies in different fields are useless. Who remember that lawyer cases of medical claims? SANC is just as corrupt as other bodies. There's bribes everywhere, especially these regulatory bodies. We need to vote for change my fellow South Africans.

  9. Be strong ladies, your little angels are up there with the big man, safe☝️Always remember, u may not get the justice you deserve(failed justice system) but what goes around, comes around😊Those money hungry monsters will pay one way or the other, oneday💪
