#Streetfood #Ghana #Jamaican #Travel

Another day in Ghana to try another dish from my 10 traditional foods to try in Ghana list, and today we tried Omo Tuo. This went so well with the palm & ground nut soup. I also tried Guinea Fowl for the first, a bit firm and gamey, but good.

  1. It's amazing he said the beach and the kids catching fish for sale reminds him of home and his culture, well it IS his culture Jamaicans are Africans their African culture hasn't been tainted that much not like Americans blk's. Blk Americans when we see Jamaicans and how they live we see Africa! to us Jamaicans are not westernized even the Jamaicans that are educated or wealthy. Americans would love to be in the motherland but like he said he felt like he was at home a blk American couldn't say that! It's a blessing to know your culture wasn't completely erased like ours but even tho we still have some African ways but very little!

  2. I see their's ignorance in a lot of cultures about "chanting" praying to the ancestors lol. VERY interesting I thought that was more of a American thing since most of us don't know much about our REAL CULTURE and history. Very sad to see people who automatically "think" negatively about spirituality from our roots wow very sad to see and hear. PLEASE LEARN AND EDUCATE YOURSELF ON YOUR HISTORY BLACK PEOPLE. Orishas/African spirituality and indigenous wisdom

  3. Why don't you explore the alcohol in ghana…. They have the sugar cane and the palm rum and gin…. After go to Jamaica village and the surrounding areas for us… Then giwee a beach shott

  4. SOAI dear, feel free to enjoy Ghana soups with a spoon. You'll relish and savor it better plus spoon makes the soup, "less messy" on your fingers.

  5. I also agree with Ms. Nelson. Your closing message was insightful. I am an "Black American" which makes it hard to travel to other
countries, because of their opinion about Americans. I to would like be able to travel to other countries and just be there learning about
their cultures. So I am traveling through You and Jilly. Thank you for your VLOGS. Stay save in your travels,
    and get home save. 🌴

  6. check out labadi beach and the ones in Volta region..those are more beaches..you went to Ghana when its hot..it was so chilly in July and August..

  7. I have enjoyed the African series however dud you guys experience any bathroom problems. When i say problems i mean" the runs". I have a trip in April and i heard that its gets bad. If so i think you guys should touch on that. I am also a foodie and i think its very common because of the change of places.

  8. If it's possible I would recommend you travel to Kwahu in the Eastern region, up the mountain to be precise. It's such a beautiful place and you will love it.
