  1. I'm Jamaican n love Ghanaian and Nigerian dishes. I am well versed in Ghana food. But now I'm learning how to make Nigerian cuisine. Made this for the first time. Turned out amazing. My African friend said it was one of the best she ever had. It's easy n delicious. I used smoked turkey, goat meat n smoke crawfish. With fufu. 😁 thank you for this recipe .👌🏾

  2. I had this dish for the very first time two days ago. It was served to me with pounded yam FuFu. I very much enjoyed the FuFu. I fear I did not enjoy the soup. I looked this up out of curiosity to find out what goes in it. I’m not sure what it was that I found so disagreeable but, I respect that other people like it and I see that there’s a lot that goes into it and I wish that my taste buds had been more amenable to its flavor. Thank you anyway for sharing your knowledge.

  3. Wow amazing. I love the recipe. But please, can anyone tell me what ugu leaves means in french? I'd like to try. Oh and egusi as well. I'm in a francophone country and I don't know their names in french. Thank you 🙏🏾

  4. Can you maybe add closed captioning to your videos as your accent is very thick and a lot of us are getting lost on certain steps of your recipe.. To keep from assuming what to do next or trying to only follow along using visuals this will allow us to recreate this recipe more spot on, thank you.

  5. Hi are you using goat meat or mutton as a lot of people in the UK call curries etc curry goat, but they use mutton and I know goat meat isn’t as popular in the UK, I just wanted to clarify so I know if mutton can be used or if I have to look for a retailer that sells goat meat

  6. I would like to eat the soup cooked by a Nigerian…..please recomnend any 3 good Nigeruan resturants in Johannesburg…..I am South Africa and this really looks tasty🎉

  7. My wife is Nigerian and I've visited Lagos a few times, so today I'm making Egusi soup with shin beef, smoked turkey, dried crayfish finished with spinach. We were in the African shop last week so should have bought some tripe and cow's feet and ears, but instead bought some chicken gizzard and goat meat. We're having this with rice, and possibly plantain (dodo)….bon apetite all!
