Popcorn is not filling for me tbh and if i eat foods like watermelon then sometimes i feel even more hungry because i don't feel satisfied full or satiated no matter the volume maybe i think how filling the food is matters a lot to me

My biggest impact change was salad dressing. Huge calories. I started measuring instead of glugging it on and was saving nearly 150 calories per salad. Pouring salad dressing on the top is dangerous and incorrect. So I have been taught to use 1 teaspoon of dressing…..put in the bottom of a big mixing bowl…dump salad on top and toss it around with your hands to really coat the salad. Little things.
For me honestly popcorn and soup (plain veggie soup) are the best high volume low cal foods

I’ve always eaten salads before my meal. I don’t have diabetes but it prevents my blood sugar from spiking which in turn makes me less likely to get sweet cravings later on and overeat
