The Aftermath of World War II: Collaboration & Retribution

In this video, I look at the aftermath of World War II. The period following the war was defined be questions of retribution for those who collaborated with the Nazis. Occupied countries asked themselves difficult questions. Was resistance a moral duty? Could collaboration be forgiven? How does Europe deal with countries like Austria were…

  1. WW3 in 2033 billions will die, fortunately i won't be around good luck on your survival. Unfortunately the dictator will rule the world for three & a half years using satellite GPS track you down in a sec. Technology is only good to revive people not using to kill, who are behind the scene influencing killing the human race?

  2. Such interesting footage and contents. However, the way you add commentary puts me to sleep after 5 minutes… Put some more spunk into it man and make it far more lively, including adding music!

  3. Would it be possible to put the auto-generated transcripts on?
It's okay if you can't, though.
I really appreciate that you have the 'cc' enabled and it helps me tremendously when I'm watching the videos on Youtube.
I'm a learning geek and I've just found, for me personally, linguistically, that if there are transcriptipts then I'm able to consume the material on a deeper intellectual level and it has a mind-castle-type of effect.

You've got great content with amazing information to chew on and the pieces to puzzels from current events (with Israel) come together with some of what you say.

I thank you for the time you put in to making your content, and admire (very much!) that you source your materials.
    I like the honesty there.

    EDIT:
    I subbed.

  4. 6:06 imagine supporting a national movement for social prosperity, which was flourishing ini all areas, promoting diversity, traditions, art, agriculture, social cooperation, leisure and then it all goes wrong. I see most Germans at that time as supporting the Nazi party and that way of life of prosperity. I feel they got mislead, so there would be many innocent Nazi supporters in fairness, I believe..😢

  5. 87,000 women went to the doctors instead of the police? 1:27 There are so many reports in History that don't add up and we should never be discriminated against for questioning the validity of our past to ensure it's not like a fictional Hollywood story.

  6. Everyone should look into the brutal atrocities the Allies committed as during the invasions and after the war brutal atrocities against civilians especially women look into it and you’ll see how the alleged liberators were as evil and as brutal as the alleged perpetrator of the world

  7. the 'collaborators' were the allied countrys 'jews' (the scapegoated minority to be dehhumanised, marked and subject to mob violence and societal diesnfranchisement) the collaborators were marked with swastikas like jews were marked with stars of david

  8. does this guy have any support about what he is saying? if I took the same video saying whatever I want and criticize whoever I want that I do not like, would you, guys also thank me?

  9. For so many soldiers it must of been happy that the war was over but sad as well, it must of been difficult getting back into normality after 6 years of fighting.

  10. Poland, Hungary, Romania and the Basic sisters were fascist protectorates by Nazi Germany and the Kingdom of Italy working together to destroy the USSR.

Those countries deserved the worst and showed no remorse by the Red Army for being collaborators to the Nazi war machine which mind you started the Holocaust murdering millions of people. Lebensraum: If Operation Barbarossa succeeded, 60+ million people would have been wiped out!

  11. The women that got their head shaved and had to be parading around naked got off very lightly since most of them turned in Jews to the Gestapo they deserved far far worse

  12. People need to understand that back then Germany was in control of the most evil monster ever known to men. Germans back then were so evil that they even tortured and gassed small children- millions of them. You need to read about the Holocaust to get an idea of how evil Germany was. Also check the "Diary of Anne Frank". I know that there are a few people making excuses and trying to erase all the atrocities committed by the Nazis but too bad the Nazis were cruel and left plenty of evidence.

  13. After ww2 the world Bankers founded the U.N..(United Nations).
The U.N. was the extension of the League Of Nations.
This body was there to unify the world.
The chosenite Bankers delegated responsibility to this entity for enacting war or sanctions on Gentile nation's. It stepped in if two Nations were having tensions and forced one or the other to submit to U.N. rule or face the consequences.
Aldous Huxleys brother Julien Huxley (Aldous Huxley (chosenite) and agent of the British Government was a famous novelist. He wrote the book "Brave New World") was the first "General Director" of UNESCO.
UNESCO (World Education Fund) became the "World Education Arm" of the U.N.
Julien Huxley wrote in 1945 (UNESCO"s founding year) concerning the organizations goals – "As we have seen earlier, the unifying of traditions in a single common pool of experience, awareness, and purpose is the necessary prerequisite for further major progress in human evolution.
Accordingly although political unification in some sort of world goverment will be required for the definitive alignment of this stage, unification in the things of the mind is not only also unnecessary but can pave the way for other types of unofficial".
The UNESCO dictated the school curriculum in every country that had a chosenite Central Banking System.
Later to come, also these countries had to subordinate themselves to military bases, if they didn't had one, the country had a American military mission as a component for forcing the country to the rule of the UNESCO.
This over the decades had UNESCO equiped, to proselytize to the youth of the world, the idea of world goverment.
The same world goverment – predicted by the Protocols, had now become reality.

  14. US and British governments let Japan, Italty and Germany also Russia caused death and suffering to their own people. Turning a blind eye to atrocities in the 1930-1940-1950s. US and Britain must have known about those countries building a war arsenal yet did nothing to protect our citizenry in case of war that they knew was coming.

  15. It always burns my ass to see those "men" humiliating all those women, when many of them either collaborated themselves, or were too cowardice to join the resistance.

  16. History is a very complex thing.
Many have gone to one extreme or the other in order to deal with what happened. I think we must walk the difficult balancing act, through careful discussion and thought, which is often arduous.
But we should not seek to throw out right and wrong, or soften, or simplify anything to more easily deal with the past.
We really have not grown past our history, even if we often forget about it. It is always there.
Instead we must grow our intellect in order to appropriately and fully process the events and learn from them. No matter how difficult it is. It is the only way to grow out from underneath the shadows of the past.

  17. Not all Revenge was carried out onto collaborators there were a lot of atrocities committed by the liberators onto innocent population of Germany there were many cases where they raped and killed women and where they beat little children to death just because they were German and children had nothing to do with collaboration with Nazis

  18. We cant fathom how horrific all this was /.so many peoples psyche was effected it trickled down to the parents to the children and we wonder why so many families even now have been scarred by drink drugs etc / it was not that long ago in a time line.and war is still going on now i hate it /thanks for vid x

  19. Nazi war criminals and people who supported and helped Hitler to carry out the holocaust and other war crimes, genocides and crimes against Humanity were almost never put on trial for their crimes against the Jews, the Poles, the Greeks, the Russians and the people of Europe, but instead were installed in top positions in NATO, in the western German government, army, industry and western German society at large.

The most famous of them was Adolf Heusinger, chief of the Operationsabteilung from 1940-1944.

He was actually Hitler's chief of staff and helped plan the Nazi’s invasions of Poland, Norway, Denmark, and France. He was promoted to colonel on August 1, 1940 and became chief of the Operationsabteilung in October 1940, making him number three in the Army planning hierarchy.

In 1961, Heusinger was made the Chairman of the NATO Military Committee (essentially he was NATO's chief of staff). He served in that capacity until 1964.

General Hans Speidel, a Nazi general who was Erwin Rommel’s chief of staff during WWII.

After the war he served in the Western German army and became the Supreme Commander of NATO’s ground forces in Central Europe from 1957-1963.

Johannes Steinhoff, Luftwaffe fighter pilot during WWII and recipient of the Knights Cross of the Iron across (the Nazi military’s highest award), was Chairman of the NATO Military Committee 1971–1974 (among other NATO positions beforehand)
