  1. This whole ados movement is just to devise hs and make white people laugh at us. I am not sure why a so called descendant of slaves would think they are more entitled to repatration or better than an African. If my father was yanked from me in Ghana, or nigeria, that father was brought to America as a slave and gave birth to an ADOS, how are we not siblings?

  2. There isn't anything that you've said that you can present any data on. We're not funded.
By any right-wing organization, although that has been said even The New York Times and other outlets have also written, they have not found any indication. Of that being so so why continue to spread that Lie.
There is no dialog for you to open on what doesn't concern.
Anyone else but us as a group with love.
The 1964 immigration act was passed. There were no black emigrants in america if so to the right of the decimal. So there weren't any immigrants here as you said for decades.
Melanin does not make ethnicity or a Pacific group. Possibly race
But not ethnicity are lineage. in the continent of Africa, Such as Nigerian.
Zimbabwe . Are any other state or tribe on the continent? They are different. Just as jamaica or haiti. Or blacks and one of the many south american countries. Which I do believe they are also all entitled Reparations .But from their perspective colonizer where they occurred the arm. They received no harm from america this is not devicive. If you weren't in the car doing the accident but on the bus You should look to be paid reparations from the bus accident and not Alone with those that were riding in a car. totally Different accident regardless to whether they were traffic Incidents and two different places.
The police may stop a black immigrand violate his rights just as he would mine. But this is why we also have a *(black Agenda )* That would address issues for all black America. Just not Reparations .for all blacks here in america. So many people came here for a better way of life. And i'm more than sure they knew exactly what america Was.. They came on their own free will. The American descendants of slavery did not come on. Our own free will we were sold by west africans To europeans . The transatlantic Slave tradeThis is not device. It's just a fact and we're only looking for what is just for us and believe.
That others Should stand an fight. The colonizers that enslaved them and not run and tell us. How we should address our issues. Or We are devices for being willing to speak for ourselves. You don't get to tell us where we fit in.. that decision. Is ours to makeAnd I say this with love. But there is no discussio. For this is a issue that only involves the American descendan of slavery in america the united states. Just as Terracon . ights for the Caribbean.
    And rightfully so.. With love

  3. Black Americans support so many people on so many other fights. It is not collective activism if the diaspora doesn’t fight with the American Blacks whose families were enslaved against our oppressors. The divisiveness in the diaspora proceeds these recent ethnic affiliations groups.

  4. You black Africans need to get off the bull crap ados means African descent of slaves who were slaves here in America the American black man was stuck over here you black African stayed in Africa y'all was not slaves you don't even slaves among other Africans we were slave by white people what's up for the most that's the difference between FBA and regular black Africans in Jamaicans so we deserve reparations we were sold by our own black people in Africa they thought that when we became slaves in America they thought we was going to die off we became popular here in America now these Africans want to be part of us, want to be our friends because we the one that made black beautiful all over the world so now they want to try to use us, gett there hooked on us, and want to join us, but they're the one that sent us over here so whatever they thought they was going to do to the black people they sent to America did not work, now they want to be our friends stay separated we are different then you Africans

  5. This whole thing is baffling to me and extremely stupid. We (Black people) are fighting over who will get reparations in the USA when Lynching Black People was only just made illegal in the USA. The USA has only just recognised freedom from slavery via Juneteenth. When do you all actually think they will ever start discussing and agree to reparations?
NOT in our lifetime so please explain why we are arguing about something that isnt even a thing. Trinidadian British Person signing out.

  6. It’s all about semantics, language and words. The so called American “Negro/Black” free or enslaved is never mentioned by name in the U.S. Constitution, however are referred and classified as “3/5th Persons” and “Such Persons”. This is the classification that needs to addressed Constitutionally. as all other African Diaspora immigrants are eligible for “Citizenship”

  7. Phrankleen, I love the spirit of unity that you have, but a great deal of other Black's from Africa and the Carribeans don't share the same sentiment as you. They pride themselves as being distinct from us. They wave flags in our country and imgratiate themselves with our enemies by distinguishing themselves and assisting in frustrating our battles for freedom. We used to fight for everyone and found that everyone in turn was fighting us. Many even pretented to be us, while sabotaging us from the inside. We are one, but we are not going to shut up and be absorbed by hateful and envious brothers.

  8. Black, African, Caribbean people from the diaspora, whether you're born in the states or migrated here after the end of chattle slavery, more so after the CIVIL RIGHTS movement HAVE NO right(s) to the reparations claim(s) Full stop. This isn't about being xenophobic or any other kind of conjecture. FBA/ADOS have every right to delineate from other melanated nations from the diaspora especially in the Americas.. NOT all but a great majority of those from diaspora delineate their nationalities and or lineage all of the time. FBA/ADOS have no problem with that but Black have extended themselves to those from the diaspora and have been met with vitriolic hatred and disdain and FBA/ADOS have said NO MORE. While you bring up great points about strategy and strength in collective numbers, many from the continent and Caribbean don't want pan Africanism. They settle in a place that was majority built by the enslaved ancestors of FBA/ADOS. They assimilate and initiate to the point of distraction while draining resources meant for FBA/ADOS first. They also get into bed politically and socially with the dominant society to gain standing with the WiteSupremaSISts and undermine FBA/ADOS. While I try not to be pessimistic, I don't think unification is in the cards. FBA/ADOS has drawn their collective lines in the sand and have declared "ENOUGH IS ENOUGH!"
It's understandable to come to another country knowing the horrific treatment that has been inflicted upon FBA/ADOS by the dominant society but may see as a minor infraction(s) compared to the conditions you and your family were enduring in your homeland. That said when FBA/ADOS warns you that the system of WiteSupremacee outweighs what you've gone through here on this soil and still you choose not to unite and are set on individualism and tribalism as far as nationallity is concerned, then FBA/ADOS clearly has to take a stand

Lastly, whatever rheySISM those from the diaspora may have experienced in the Americas, does not quantify or qualify them for any claim(s) to reparations and or monies/land etc… if their lineage doesn't not trace back to the early 1800's And their ancestors were not enslaved on American soil. You must fight in your country or origin and get restitution from the countries that colonized those in your homeland

  9. Well I think we now know that this was a poor assessment of what ADOS is (and links to white supremacists or right wingers has not been proven at all) and now BLM org has basically gone belly up and was deceptive in its intentions and very limited in its goals. The fact is that ADOS IS the overwhelming majority of U.S. blacks and the purpose of the movement is to inspire black collective activism over a much BROADER range of issues than say…police violence. Mainly it is seeking true economic justice and repair of our communities that have been completely neglected by both political parties). I just wonder if black intelligensia would have smeared MLK. His readings make it clear that while he was aware of what was happening around the globe, ADOS (a term he used explicitly) was his priority and any time he gave speeches that alluded to reparations, he specifically referred to this group.

Either way, the group's goals is to also to put pressure on politicians (including local politicians which black America has not been very effective with for a while now. Other non-black groups and corporations have been more successful and aggressive in influencing local politicians even in pre-dominantly black areas) to serve constituents in historically underserved mostly ADOS communities because let us keep it real, black immigrants are clustered in significantly more "diverse" large metropolitan areas in the U.S. that often are decently well-represented and positively impacted by some liberal interests more so than the rural, mid-sized, and smaller cities throughout the midwest, and south that huge amounts of ADOS still live in today. These areas are often neglected by politicians that tend to gear their politics (especially Democratic Party members) to national level issues that usually exclude ADOS and blacks except indirectly through immigration policy that is usually more favorable to lower skilled non-black immigrants than it is black immigrants.

There is no doubt that black immigrants and refugees face some general anti-blackness from virulent racists and cops due to all of this history and perhaps being mistaken for us. However, most came after key reforms and rights and thus were not directly tethered to the bottom by U.S. policy. It's more like interpersonal experiences of anti-blackness versus having poverty and debt baked into generations of families whose ancestors were enslaved in the U.S. Only that group should get a reparations program from the U.S. If any other group of blacks has had issues, that should be a separate claim. I would not go to Jamaica or Haiti today and tell them to include me in their reparations claims against Britain and France because I'm their fellow black brother and am now a citizen of the island. I have nothing to do with their justice claim. The best thing I can do is support them in their claim. And U.S. black immigrants should be able to support our claim whether they get a check or not because lifting up the 90% of blacks (ADOS) in the U.S. will no doubt bring direct benefits to other blacks here in the U.S. The idea that we can't have our own justice claim and quantify what happened to us since emancipation via our own designation seems like duplicity to me.

  10. We should be viewed exactly what we are…afro indigenous peoples. Yes we have African roots but our indigenous roots and rights should come before anything. Our indigenous ancestors were enslaved during the Indian slave trade or actually indentures. We won’t let go of the fact either that even alot of our indigenous ancestors were black. How they got here or when they got here has nothing to do with Asians or the plains people. Those people weren’t enslaved. Southerners were. Caribs were. We also won’t leave out that fact that black people came as slaves from Europe. None of this will be erase. We are afro indigenous peoples or just purely indigenous because even those Mexican Asian slaves and chinos slaves got indigenous status and rights under their Spanish when they were slaves or the country did know how to classify those Creole Asians peoples. The US even grand fathered in those Asians as indigenous…so why is it hard for us to get the bare min when with the proof of our history? Pre colonial blacks and trans Atlantic blacks are OUR ancestors. Because were black means we can’t have our indigenous status?

ados is loud and wrong and have upset even black Americans. They divided us because we and our indigenous rights. The upset the immigrants because they’re anti immigrations and loud. Most black communities don’t want immigration and gentrification. Immigrants and white racist build right on top of us and don’t care about us. We are looking for Indigenous rights for our indigenous ancestors and reparations for the torture during slavery. Our fight should be supported by black immigrants becuse it will help both of us in the long run.

Black immigrants gotta wanna give up something. You guys are coming from third world countries. Be an ally and not an enemy.

  11. Blatantly disingenuous, If you get profiled by the police, wronged, and then sue and win for damages, I as a black man, am not entitled to any of that settlement. FBAs have a claim that has nothing to do with immigrants, respect that the same way you respect the Namibian's redress with Germany. Funny how you and every other Black non-FBA don't call that divisive, or CARICOM for that matter.

  12. They really don't want Niggas to have their own .. they all have homes but when we stand up in our house it's a problem..
Ados FBA the Maafa Akata. Bka the Niggas .
All these immigrant groups have their culture but offended we've found ours… I don't get it .. why is it your concern sir?
Weve been separate.. excuse us for recognizing the fact… We aren't of the same breed or struggle and I mean no offense by that

  13. The end of the day it's about money money that's old not from a couple of people that came here for a couple of decades we are talking about hundreds and hundreds of years of our family we have bones in the ground they foundation that we built up over and over every time it was torn down we just want payback for what is owed to us nobody saving on anybody everything isn't for everybody just belongs to us when people can't get part of something they get upset we just ask everybody to stand back and let us do what we have to do for us no division or divisive just let us get what is owed to us it's not old to everybody

  14. SMH so misinformed. I am glad L know better. Lineage is important. I don’t see the problem. It would be nice if truth be told that immigrants separate themselves from us. IJS

  15. Pan Africanism needs an upgrade or it should be thrown out. Black americans don’t owe our ethic identity and history to other groups for their own gain. They aren’t black Americans. There should be 2 different black ethnic groups so we can stop this political flat blackness. We aren’t immigrants, we shouldn’t be forced to think like immigrants and fake ally with ppl from different cultures.

  16. So what happens when you read a really old book (pre-1880s) and find that many "White" immigrants were slaves…. And that most slaves were children…. And that most people "enslaved" their children and siblings…. And that "Blacks" are various different American Indian tribes?

Should our name still change to ADOS? Sounds disrespectful to me. We were descendants of free men. Not slaves.

  17. Why is it a problem, everybody else talk about their tribe or Caribbean countries..So what's the problem, why don't yall lead the charge for the global black people and stop worrying about what Black Americans are doing ✌🏾✌🏾Dueces…. I'm sure you'll start using that slang too smmfh 🤦🏾‍♂️🤦🏾‍♂️

  18. We are not African Americans or BLM they are LGBT you are misinformed about our People and there true Struggles we are FBA You are Non FBA and your opinion Has no Relevance to my Peoples Struggles your How ever attitude is your Have we understand you mean us no good and this Means nothing to our Struggle support FBA Reparations or Mind your own Peoples Business you Have a Land FBA does not we cannot Go To we’re we come from you can this why FBA must be First nothing else will be First B1💥💯💥

  19. I get it legally to make a claim it has to be clear and dissive in order to take it to court all I'm saying is that at some point we were all a nation of people in our ancestrial lands

  20. No this is completely wrong, black Americans that decend from slave in the U.S. have a specific justice claim based on the 1865 and destruction of the reconstruction movement done in the early 19th century. The exclusion of black people policy that created the white middle class, including redlining Jim Crow laws and etc. Reperations is blood debt. It's not a class action lawsuit for racism. It is based on your family being locked out of generational wealth because of policy. If your family bloodlines do not go back being affected by these policies then you have no claim. It's that simple. It's about making the claim based on substance. That not being divisive. Why is no one saying that CARICOM is divisive? Are black Americans included in that?

  21. We are all apart of the human species. Notice, I didn’t say race? White people created the word “race” to separate us all and make distinctions and separate themselves from Blacks. The word race regards to a competition, and it was mainly used to categorize people by their looks, class and lineage etc. We are all apart of one species. However, Blacks can definitely trace their history back to Ethiopia 🇪🇹 with humanized fossils like Lucy and Ardie from 4.4 million years ago in Ethiopia.

Note, Regarding Reparations…. As I understand, Jamaica is now seeking compensation from British for years of their slave trade. However, African Americans who are direct descendants of Transatlantic slave trade in American are also seeking reparations for African Americans.

To be honest, reparations can definitely be a little controversial, however most scholars have sorta figured out how reparations should be given. There seems to be a consensus and majority vote to allow people to prove they actually descended from a person enslaved in the United States —they would have to prove their ancestry through ancestry databases which are easy to prove online— and also, they would have to show that they have identified as “black” in public documents for at least 10 years or more. This would exclude other African groups, for example, like Afro Latino’s who can not prove they descended from a person enslaved in the United States.
This would also exclude a number of black Americans whose ancestors were enslaved elsewhere, such as Jamaica, Haiti or the Bahamas. IMO, Slavery is an issue that happened all over the world, and I think Blacks all over the world should be fighting their governments if they’re the true descendants of enslaved people from those nations. Haiti should be fighting the French 🇫🇷 government and Jamaica should be fighting the British government. In actuality, we should all be supporting each other to fight for reparations. ✊🏼 we have to fight to bring balance back to the world.

  22. African Americans/ados are a specific ethnic group just like Afro Jamaicans, etc. I'm a Jamaican & have no issue with African Americans claiming their heritage & ethnic group. 🤷🏿‍♂️ The only problem I have is when some of them spew xenophobic BS.
