4. Forgive the long comment but I would prefer not to be a spam artist and hey bonus points for the nostalgia bomb of commercials

   it's so nice that we have this in full (there are other copies of this ceremony that have been cut down)

   right I guess the industry turned 100 that year

   RIP to those who have passed away since this ceremony

   of course the monologue is cut (maybe add cards with links to the stuff that was cut)

   ah yes this was the start of Disney's monster run not just at the box office but in the music category at the oscars (Best Animated feature didn't exist yet) and sadly this would be the only time Howard Ashman would win while he was alive (I wonder why he didn't attend this ceremony was he busy with Beauty and the Beast? or maybe he was too sick to attend…nevermind we see him later when they accept best Original song)

   Right Handmaid's Tale got a movie before it got the tv series (guess the movie doesn't really get attention these days)

   I didn't realize the bird lady from Home Alone 2 was an Oscar winner

   Figures that Daryl Hannah introduces the little mermaid in that category while wearing that mermaid dress'

   Equal Justice lasted two seasons, oh Hi Sarah Jessica Parker

   I'm guessing this was Jeff Bergmans debut as Bugs Bunny (only two nominations?)

   and the JHHA gets cut off

   1:46:05 Sammy Davis Jr would be dead in less than 2 months….and on the same day as Jim Henson

   There are a couple of special ads here one of them being about the McDonalds opening in Moscow (I imagine from their point of view it must have been a big deal to get American fast food joints in there) oh and this one at the 2:19:51 mark

   After all still gets radio play I hear it on my default station once in awhile

   2:35:21 clearly they couldn't resist though the film version comes 6 years later

   good heavens, presenting from other countries led to a 6 country sing-a-long of Over the Rainbow

   well this was a nice viewing

   hmm only 2% of viewers are subscribed…eh what the hey I'll be nice smashes the button
