I'm glad that I didn't go see THE COLOR PURPLE. But, that had nothing to do with Taraji's revelations. Some of the people that went to see the movie, came out of the Theatre and posted their unsatisfactory feelings and reviews about the movie. The Patton's were disappointed. I didn't hear Taraji's revelations til after that. And everything Taraji says has already been said by others in the business. And I believe it all. About Oprah and about Tyler Perry! Yep! It's all about the money! And they short change the underlings.
That movie didn't flop cause of Taraji it flopped cause THE COLOR PURPLE did not have to become a musical.
