Refreshing in the era of the cult of technology to step back from the ‘breaking news’ cycle to look at what is actually going on.
What is still missing or at least not wholly addressed in this discussion is how we actually and practically empower our existing human collectives to influence these macro trends.
In the absence of such mechanisms it seems fearfully like discussing boat safety engineering while on the sinking titanic.
We still seem to only have the revolt/destroy/rebuild option civilizations have always had to meaningfully turn the ship.
