Team TaylorMade Learns About 10K MOI in Qi10 Driver for the First Time | TaylorMade Golf

Tiger Woods, Rory McIlroy, Scottie Scheffler, Nelly Korda, Tommy Fleetwood, Collin Morikawa, Charley Hull, and Brooke Henderson step up onto the TaylorMade Tour Truck to talk with Brian Bazzel, VP Of Product Creation to hear first hand how the engineers at TaylorMade were able to achieve a goal that they have been trying to reach for a while,…

  1. Is it, light weight? Heavy? Carbon face- what about, persau' something to the effect that actually, shows the strength behind the actual putt. As well as a mechanism that actually tell how fast the strength in which it was flown/flew. 9:27

  2. ridickless testing. why did they not use a robot to hit the ball 1.9cm off center? using a human subject to test is highly unscientific and inaccurate. there is human component such as bias. this is absolutely insulting to anyone with greater than a H.S. diploma. another marketing BS

  3. get rid of brian. he might be the VP and wants his ego stroked and may even thought that this "class room" crap was his great idea. but it looks terrible. ditch this guy and ditch this class room bs. I am sure a teenager could do a better job than this guy.

  4. I'd be so uncomfortable in that room listening to all that bs coming out of this guys mouth while everyone else is supporting that bs because they are paid shit load of money to just agree with whatever crap he says. I hate humans. they are despicable, selfish, self-serving, inherently dishonest beings, easily pursuaded by money. integrity and honesty is nowhere to be found in 2024 and beyond.

  5. every other golf manufacturer will claim that they use the latest technology, innovation, forgiveness, speed, velocity, acceleration, momentum, inertia, COG, basically all the fucking jargon you use in physics. So what da hell is it that you do differently? they all go the same distance. usga caps the maximum velocity of the ball. false marketing and hype is what drives the golf industry and I find that to be highly unethical and lack in integrity. ironically, they want players to be honest with their scoring, but they lie about the actual performance of their equipment. every fucking year they say their drive is 5 miles faster and 5 yds longer. bitch by now my driver should be going 500 yds according to your statement.

  6. I wonder if the women in the room feel a bit uncomfortable with Tiger in the room??? Are they wondering what thoughts are running thru Tiger’s head about them???

Tiger seems a bit out of it…no sleep??? Pain killers???

  7. hi TaylorMade, if you want to bring the Kingdom down under i have a few locations in Wollongong that would be perfect and i would love to work for TM and run the Kingdom Downunder

  8. Good Lord. This is so cringey. A room full of people on camera who are being paid millions of dollars to endorse Taylormade and this tool asks them: "when people talk about Taylormade drivers, what do people say?" I'd have given a month's pay to see them answer one by one: "junk, shit, crap, garbage, bollocks…" 🙂

  9. love TM content, but this is absolutely atrocious. No way these players enjoyed this, it's like a 3rd grade classroom and frankly it's the antithesis of what makes TM content so enjoyable. The info is great, the players saved it somewhat, but this could have been a much more casual conversation.

  10. As an engineering student its so cool to see all the stuff im learning being talked about in this video, hope to one day be on the team behind all of this innovation.

  11. It would be nice to see the MOI published for the LS head model as well versus the stealth LS in addition to the screw weights used in the back of each for those MOI readings. Can you publish a view of the MOI 19 mm off center hits that shows all the variables and the entire club? From a marketing POV this clip is persuasive, but how much improvement year over year are we really talking if you look at all the empirical data? More importantly … show the dispersion of 20 shots from a stealth versus Qi10 with same shaft and swing weight. If it’s so much more forgiving it should have noticeable and significantly tighter dispersion. People don’t know what “10,000 MOI” means in a practical sense. They just think the number sounds twice as good as the drivers they hit in the early 2000s. But what has their dispersion change looked like over the years? We’ve plateaued because there’s not much left to do with today’s materials and tech to shift get weight and the center of gravity without compromising structural integrity. You could buy this $700 dollar driver or you could just add a few grams to the rear of your your current driver for the same MOI effect. Show me practical dispersion improvement then we’ll talk. My 2008 Nike Sumo and my stealth plus fitted with the same shaft and swing weight perform very similar for me on the launch monitor, just a bit spinnier head in the Nike 20 year old model but it was designed to be the MOI head of its day not the LS version like my stealth plus. With new driver prices it’s just like the annual iPhone upgrades. Use what you have until it breaks then go get a fancy new one or a used one, they’ll both get the job done.

  12. When you consider the hundreds of thousands of dollars for the hour this took to film, you think the questions and dialogue would have been perfectly crafted compared to yes/no questions

  13. These guys can make any equipment from the last 5 years work for them, it’s a non-issue. How the best players in the world can relate how new tech can help the average golfer is ridiculous. It’s marketing BS at its best.
