  1. I didn’t try the TaylorMade last year because of all the press about broken carbon faces. It was down to Ping or Callaway last year and Ping G430 Max won out.

This year, I decided to throw TM in the mix and found I really did like the carbon face sound and feel.

I’m starting to show my age with hip and back problems and a nagging trail elbow, and my swing is now in the mid-90s on a good day. With that being said, I had the best results with the QI10 Max. I got more roll out from the AI Smoke and G430 Max 10k, but the QI10 Max beat out the QI10 standard and the rest in carry. The standard did have just slightly longer total yards, but I’ll take a little extra spin for straighter ball flights. QI10 Max is in the bag for this year, and first round was 8 of 12 fairways hit (5 & 6 iron on other two dogleg fairways).

  2. I change my clubs every year Which one is better neither . I will not hit new club any further. It’s personal which you like the look of. So if you drive a Mercedes at 60 mph and a ford escort at 60 at mph for 30 minutes which one arrives first. Well both at the same time. Upto you

  3. So dont take much with these comparisons. Rick Shiels was hitting the Callaway about 5 yds further than the Taylormade, so its the golfer not the driver, no matter how many times these clowns say its the driver. It depends on your swing and preference. No driver is better than the other. Look at the pros, they can legit hit any brand name and hit it pretty much the same distance.

  4. Pretty hard to make a true comparison of two of the newest drivers of 2024 with some of those shots that are so horribly in accurate spraying all over the place. I know humans cannot be robots, but on robot testing The results are going to be true and accurate which means that any human that attempts to do a comparison can’t be spring ball is way off to the left and the right and into the rough in the water and using those numbers as a comparison. Sorry but this test is totally inaccurate

  5. Why is it in the simulator comparisons there is no collaborated data from all your strikes with the Taylormade? Every standard deviation is 0, it appears you cherry picked your best Taylormade strike and went with it.

  6. How come you aren't testing the Smoke Max against the Qi10 Max…?

Seems like comparing apples and oranges in a way.
TaylorMade themselves are saying, that it is their Qi10 Max, that has an MOI of 10K.

  7. great review I think this years Driver lineup is gonna very competitive across the board will be tough to choose which brand to go with just wish the prices were not so outlandish 800-900 canadian for a driver is getting pretty steep cheers all from Vulcan Canada

  8. Thanx for doing a comparo straight off. The comparison of the drivers matter for all except for the loyalists. The thing I love about Callaway and dislike about TM (though their colorway is spectacular this year) is the shape, to me it has a bit more of a pear shape with a bulbous toe section. I prefer a more compact triangular shape.

  9. This is a huge step back for taylormade. The usually most aggressive company in golf. Such a lame driver. Looks like it’s from the early 2000s. Quest for 10kmoi? LAME

  10. I personally lean more towards the callaway. Simply because. Sim-Stealth2. All feel the same. Not a ton of differnce. This looks like a sims stealth. The paradym last year was great. To think callaway improved that is hard to imagine. That club was and is very impreasive.

  11. good comparison. I wish that you would put your best foot forward and fit yourself for the drivers. Looks like if you just moved the weight on the Callaway you would have been straighter and longer, but I get it.

  12. Great video, Was there a supply issue with why you didn't compare the Qi10 Max to the Smoke Max ?? From what I have seen of other videos the Smoke Max is a more forgiving club but has less distance than the regular Smoke. Would be interesting to see a head to head of both LS models with your swing speed , That would be awesome.
