Tatum & Brown AWESTRUCK Meeting Larry Bird for 1st Time ๐Ÿ€

Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown met the Celtics LEGEND of LEGENDS, Larry Bird for the very first time at NBA All Star Weekend 2024. In a rare โ€œhuman momentโ€ the two current Boston stars were completely awestruck when seeing and meeting Larry Legend. Truly an NBA history moment for the ages.

  1. One of the greatest Boston Celtics members, and there are many. One of the best all-around players in the game he didnโ€™t have one or two parts of the game. He played well. He played them all very well, and a team leader, and a huge winner, and didnโ€™t back down to anybody , and made everybody around around him better. JT you met someone of honor and greatness.โคโคโค๐Ÿ˜Š

  2. Hopefully Jayson Tatum starts to embrace that Celtics history and legends are the ones before him wearing that uniform and not look elsewhere, all due respect to the great late Kobe Byrant, to find inspiration when Larry himself is one of the greats of this beautiful game.

  3. As a player when Bird was home in Boston he might as well have been in Indiana. He pretty much never went out. Bought a home in Brookline right down the street from his agent. He used to mow his own lawn and draw a crowd of neighborhood kids watch himโ€ฆmow the lawn.

  4. And then you guys went out there and stunk the whole place up with millions of people watching. NBA is awful. And you guys are lazy bums. I'm surprised Larry didn't puke all over your shoes. The NBA is in serious trouble, and you bums go out and do 400 points?

  5. If Larry's back hadn't ended his career so early, he would be on everyone's Mount Rushmore. I have him there anyways โ€“ with MJ, LJ and Kareem. Nobody else in history was perfect in every aspect of the game. He had no weaknesses.

  6. I grew up watching 80s NBA ๐Ÿ€(Best era for ๐Ÿ€ by the way)& couldnโ€™t stand Bird being a Diehard Lakers fan but after he retired & the years went by I respected him more & considered him the ๐Ÿ 3man until I gave LeBron that title in 2016. For you youngsters who can only watch Bird on YouTube you wonโ€™t ever get the feel unlike watching him liveโ€ฆ.

  7. I was always disappointed you didn't see Larry appear more at an occasional event in Boston. The first year they named the ECF MVP after Larry, would have been great to see him present the trophy to Tatum at the garden. I guess his heart was always in his home state of Indiana, but he could still visit.
