  2. Thank you so much for sharing this recipe. I've been to Ghana several times and had this and I absolutely love it! My boyfriend is Ghanaian, so it will be nice to be able to prepare this for him. Two thumbs up!! God bless!

  3. Please can I make banku without salt? Am Nigerian and I love talapia and the pepper but putting the salt in the banku, the sauce seasoned as well as the fish….. To me that's just salt everywhere…

  4. I made this for the first time yesterday. Your recipe is easy to follow and delicious. I cook alot but have litte experince with Ghanian food up until today I know only how to make light soup and stew my fiance showed me. But now I'll be trying a new recipie of yours each week. I was able to suprise him with authentic food banku and fish after a long day at work. It was fantastic especially the fish. Of course with my favorite cooking instructors help:) thank you for investing time in what u do! Its appreciated .Jamie from Canada

  5. Hi MrsDrewry first of all thank you for all your recipes you share. My husband is a Ghanaian Kumasi man who loves his food and I’ve been able to perfect various Ghanaian dishes with your help! His favourite of mine is the Kontomori. I have a quick question about the above recipe though for the banku, I see you only use corndough. I’ve been mixing corn and cassava dough is this wrong? Thank you for answering my question and keep up the good work 😉😉
