Tanzania records 60% rise in investment projects


The Tanzania Investment Center says it has recorded a 60 percent rise in the number of newly registered investment projects within one year of adopting the new Investment Act of 2022. The government says it is eliminating the challenges affecting the growth of foreign direct investment in the country.

  1. Investors will Normally move where there is inadequate investment. Where there is space and where there is a market. You can't open a shop where there are too many shops but instead where there is a market for your products. Why produce too far away from the market? Kenyan investors are moving there to pursue that market. It was a difficult market to penetrate before and kudos to the current government. Kenyans move your branches to Tanzania, the market is finally open.

  3. My second home in Africa, I have always known that Tanzania will rise, and definitely stay in the top 10 best performing economies in Africa for sometime and could potentially move to top 5 economies.
