Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? - Issue 577 1

As we venture into Easter, there’s more to do than just chow down on chocolate shaped like eggs and rabbits. That is the primary objective for many, but the gaming backlog never takes a break, especially not on a long weekend. Here’s what we’re getting up to!

Aaron Bayne

I was planning to sink some time into Destiny 2, this weekend, but the new update for Lords of the Fallen has me starting a new save file and playing it all through with a mate.

I’m planning to both pilot a mech in PS1’s Armored Core, and I’ll also try to decide if I’m more robot than man in RoboCop: Rogue City, but I guess Dick Jones has the answer already. He’s a cyborg, you idiot!

Robert Ramsey

With Oblivion Remastered just days away from release (supposedly!), I’m now in a mad rush to finish off a few things before it demolishes my free time. That means completing side quests in Assassin’s Creed Shadows, concluding the grind in Monster Hunter Wilds (for now), and ending a very fun playthrough of RoboCop: Rogue City. It’s set to be a busy weekend.

Simon Fitzgerald

“Day 49 in the Big Br– inherited mansion, and Simon is still drafting rooms and solving puzzles.” Blue Prince is all I’ll be playing this long weekend and there’s certainly enough content to keep me busy. I’ve been scrawling puzzle notes in a journal like a mad man; the wife has even had to stop me scribbling over our lounge walls. There’s a new clue or a solution here somewhere, I swear!

One thing I really want to play is the demo for Unbeatable, a game I’ve been really looking forward to for a while now. The main thing, though, is Forza Horizon 5 — expect a review in due course.

That’s all from us, but what about you lot? As always, sound off about your weekend gaming plans in the comments section below — and happy Easter to all who celebrate.
