When this film was included in last year's MMFF, I thought that there's still hope for Filipino Cinema. But when I saw the selections this year? With Panday, Another corny Vice Ganda film, a chintzy horror film produced by a big movie company, I took that thought back. We made a huge step forward last year, but this year, we did 10 steps back.
Maganda din yung Birdshot pero sana ito yung ipinadala sa Oscars. Sayang.

Watched it a while ago.. The story was amazing and it left a lasting impression on me that Philippine movies could be just as good as the foreign ones.. kudos MMFF 🙂

I met the casts a while ago and napaka full of lessons lalong-lalo sa mga may kamag-anak na OFW. Kudos to this film and it is worth the watch! Mabuhay ang Indie Film!

Got me all teary and proud watching this. I don't have an immediate family member working abroad, but i do have extended cousins and very close friends who are. I can feel all the emotions you get when you have someone close to you sacrificing everyday in a foreign land in this movie. FINALLY something worthy to watch in MMFF

they could've gone with a film with a plot whose theme is this, but that would take away the inspirational element of this such genre…nonetheless, hindi ko pa rin feel panoorin 'to…hmmm
