Strong earthquake rocks Taiwan, collapsing buildings and prompting tsunami warning | ABC News

A tsunami warning has been issued for south-western Japan and the Philippines after an earthquake struck in the ocean near Taiwan.

Collapsed and damaged buildings could be seen in the Taiwanese city of Hualien. The quake also knocked out power in several parts of the capital Taipei.
