  1. I pray that Lamu stays as unspoiled and traditional as possible. I enjoyed my visit there – my blood pressure must have dropped 50% – so laid back!

  2. Why r the donkeys tied so tight to walls? I noticed how the donkey jumped when he just moved his hand near it's face…idk why I feel like they r not as revered as the man said. Very troubling .😡

    Thankyou Mark Weins for reminding me of my home town, Lamu. Your videos always motivate me to visit my mother more often.

    2018 and 2019 I finally re-united with her ALHAMDULILLAH (All Praise Be To Allah).

    You gave me a headstart to understand my people and their culture. I went to Laamu expecting the expected. THANKYOU!!!!
