It seems thre was indeed an exiled prince called Ekaladerhan, but he is not Oduduwa. From all available records ( oral history as well) the said exiles prince settled and died in a town called Oghoton. This story is more about politics than facts
True facts 💯 UHE is present day kogi state while ile ife is osun state, UBINI means land of heavenly peagently. Ile binu is a yoruba word meaning land of vestration or anger
Seriously where in all the stories of Oduduwa you left Obatala ? Seriously the Yoruba people always put Obatala in the bottom when he is the firstborn of Oloddumare I wonder 💭 what happened to all the stories of Obatala
It's funny when people try to discredit the story that oduduwa came down from the sky.
The mexico people claim their ancestors came from the sky.
The ancient sumerian have the same narrative
Ancient Egypt has the same version . These are vastly distance land from each other.
Could it be that oduduwa was an allien, that came in spaceship?
Tales by moonlight…. a bed time story
This is the exact story I heard and I think it's at least 70% correct
This guy and his crew must be a Colorado smoker
That's not the story of Oduduwa
Do your research Wella before bringing lies to us ok?
The original story of Oduduwa start from Ilé Ifè not Benin. Ìrè óò
Yoruba history is in the language we speak and our culture.
When Yoruba say "OLÓRUN", there is something our forefathers see in the heavens (sky) when they look up, which means those that came from heaven to earth. Our forefathers have visitations from advanced beings from other celestial bodies (planets) which are documented in our language and culture. ODUDUWA is one of those beings.
That is why Yoruba always refer to ODUDUWA as ODUDUWA ATÈWÒNRÒ, which means Oduduwa descended unto earth on a chain (Rocket from a mother space ship). That is the best our forefathers can do to describe the technology they saw.
Yoruba history is deeper and goes far way back than what is being told today. Ire o.
