The whole concept of allowing foreigners in your government is insane. Sure, one or two foreigners from the neighboring country, reasonable enough, foreigners from the other side of the world And from a less developed country? Insane.

I currently live in Nova Scotia, Canada and I have been very sick for the last decade and it has been taking forever for healthcare system where ai love to provide me with a diagnosis… I have not had to visit the closest town to my rural home for that amount of time and this year I had to travel there for a medical appointment in the town itself. The hospital I normally visit is located outside of the town. Upon my first visit to this town in over a decade due to my illness I noted a few things, observations of you will. I figured I would get a large double double coffee from Tim Horton’s and I noticed that everyone working there was from India and not just that most of the people getting food there and eating in the restaurant itself were also from India. Then I decided to visit a few other places in town after my medical appointment besides that restaurant and I noticed this demographic shift in the population everywhere. I also stopped into the grocery store where my pharmacy is and bought a few snacks there. When I was at the cash register paying for the few items I got to treat myself. I noticed a group of young adults that were also from India and I overheard the two ladies at the cash register talking about them because they come in every other day according to what they were saying to each other and shop lift the most expensive stuff from there. Like the best cuts of meats, the best cheeses, and so on. Here I am paying $100 CAD for just one friggen bag of goodies for myself and being shocked by that while at the same time watching this group of ten plus young people walking out with their jackets absolutely stuffed. So I asked the two women about this and explained I haven’t been around for a decade due to being sick and I have never seen such activity before in that town, and I was curious why they were not doing anything. They informed me that at first when it started happened they did but eventually it started happening so much that the RCMP told them not to call them anymore unless they were attacking and physically hurting people… I never thought I would hear about such things in this town let alone see them happen the very first time I have been there for a visit in a decade… It makes me so mad because I have paid the ridiculous taxes our government makes us pay here in Nova Scotia despite the fact that on average NS residents are the poorest people in all of Canada… (I looked it up Nova Scotia citizens pay more taxes than all other citizens in the other Canadian provinces and territories) I absolutely do not feel like the taxes that I paid for most of my life are being utilized properly. My health issues are one example. Our healthcare issues in this province are so darn bad that after my family doctor retired I was placed on a waiting list to get another family doctor and I waited over ten years until ai got a call back from them and it was for a nurse practitioner… both of my parents are in the same boat right now and one of them is fighting cancer. The other issue that really makes me upset is the amount of money I get per month from disability because I am now disabled thanks to how bad and slow our healthcare system here is. The average amount they give to disabled people and disabled veterans on average is around 1000 CAD a month. I have heard and seen immigrants getting 500 to 600 CAD per day and not just that they are getting new housing provided for them, their food and amenities are also covered by the government on top of that previous monthly payment I mentioned. I am definitely no longer proud to be a Canadian and once I can I plan on leaving Canada to seek better medical treatments. All the doctors seem to do where I currently live instead of actually treating you properly and really looking why you are sick and what exactly you are sick with is label what you have with some vague overarching term that they call a diagnosis and then they just through medications at you for everyone of the symptoms you mention to them. If I actually took all the medications the doctors have prescribed me over the years since ai got sick I would be on over 30 different ones right now. But because I have a friend in the medical field and I was involved in it myself long ago I was able to make educated decisions myself on whether I should take all these medications or not and as of today I am only taking 4 different medications daily. The way I feel can be pretty much summed up by saying this. Canada no longer feels like it is a country for Canadians. With that said, cheers I guess… gents.
