  1. If you celebrate black history, black achievements, and support BLM. But don't want white people celebrating their ethnicity, then who are the real racists and supremacists?

  2. The first time I see and feel Hate was when I was 18 years old. I never ever had hate and didn't think anything about Race till one day I had around 8 or 10 Bla people slagging me off calling me names then I was surrounded, one put something sharp to my throat and one with a screwdriver to my chest my body then they all started to hit push and take all stuff leaving me cut and beaten coz I'm White

  3. It’s less about how you look, and more about the context. If you are being casted based on your qualities as an actor, then brilliant. But if it’s based on some identity politics agenda, then that’s where the problem occurs due to the ongoing criticism that Hollywood films are valuing inclusion over good story telling.

  4. It’s not racist it’s just like why the fuck is there a random stormtrooper black guy and just a bunch of random classic characters I don’t hate the actor but what does he have to do with the story the whole movie sucked other than bringing characters back

  5. I've seen him in many interviews now, and he's naturally funny in all of them. He could easily get into comedy – I'd especially like to see him do his own stand-up show sometime in the future.

  6. I may be wrong, but this is just my opinion. I feel like this whole "They got a black stormtrooper?!?" uproar argument is being grossly misrepresented. I spend entirely too much online and am a Star Wars nerd and i've never heard of someone having any issue with any POC being in the movies? People love Lando. I really don't see the argument. Now, if you want to say that POC are grossly underrepresented in this universe, thats an entire separate argument and i would agree 100%. But in this case, people are complaining that he's black because storm troopers are all supposed to be clones of Jango Fett (they even acknowledged this in Ep. 7 by saying how Finn is only a stormtrooper because of an experimental program to use orphans). So the issue has nothing to do with the fact that he's black, and everything to do with him not being what fans expected him to look like based on the story that they were told.

In summary, people don't have a problem with Finn because he's black (besides the fringe minority assholes), but a large % of Star Wars fans were taken aback by the casting at first because they seemed to be ignoring the canon and rules of the universe. This was about continuity, not racism. But when someone sees someone else question why he's black, instantly they think that person is an evil asshole who doesn't like black people. I just do not think this is true at all. Star Trek is all about diversity and its the same damn fans that love SW.

  7. You know what. I'm disappointed that he wasn't that involved in the last jedi because Finn and Rey were actually pretty cute together. They had a good chemistry.

But The Last Jedi was really disappointing. Boring honestly. Too long.

  8. I literally hate Finn in the new Star Wars. Hes utterly useless. You could take him out of the movie and it would be fine. Finn is just a ridiculous character and has no purpose.
