Factoring is quickest. 81**4 – 81**3 = 81**3(81 – 1) = 81**3 * 80 = 42,515,280.
if you were going to use long multiplication at some point (3*3*3*3*3*3*3….) then just do 81*81*81*81 much shorter…
Surely there has to be a smarter way to do this than using repeated long multiplication…?
