  1. The problem for me is that fans and pundits sell themselves on the idea of a sportsmans credentials. When they're proven wrong they will throw said player under the bus. When the truth is they should be criciticed for having no semblance or rationality when accessing players actual abilities. Ill be honest i dont think Saka is exceptionally skilled or a great crosser or passer of the ball, but what he is…he has good mental strength, is fairly strong on the ball, can finish and makes good runs. He is what he is, no more no less. Thats my point…take players as they are not how you percieve them. Rice is what he is, he's an exceptional ball wining 6 if you want a ball winner. He's no more than that though. This idea hes an 8 is highly questionable for me. Where his ability to score or particularly good passing range to create if you're not a goak scorer? It doesn't exist with Rice. He can advance foward but he always goes square. Im not slating him because i rate him. He just is what he is though.

  2. Hey guys sorry for the late comment had watched this when it came out but I have an idea for you guys to do a 2023/2024 season review game by game before we start the next season. Like talk about it game by game and what was learned and what changed in the following games and etc. some games can be skimmed over but like the arsenal season review but from your eyes. Much love from Uganda. Jordan, Lee, James, Turkish. Big up. Love this podcast. Will comment again on the next episode. 😅

  3. we do have those players.. but we get told we dont know what we are doing with the ball// its alayws play fast.. the speed of the english game… i stpped and years later JT TOLD IN FRONT OF MY WORKMATES i WAS A BETTER FOOTBALLER.. I SURELY CANT BE THE ONLY GUY WHO HAS THIS TO TELL.. THERE ARE LOADS OF US OUT THERE. ENGLAND WANTS TO HAVE A SPECIFIC KIND OF PLAYER.. BULLY BEEF AND SALT OF THE EARTH

  4. Countless exciting options on the bench for the final and just the usual bluuurgh from Southgate. Real Madrid’s hottest property gave his best showing by screaming at Southgate to change it! Yes that was his best showing.

  5. Also with England this tournament it seemed as soon as we go a goal down we would always ramp it up and get a goal even against Spain and if there was another 10-15 mins left after their second I think we would have ramped up again and scored a second, I don’t understand why we could do that at 0.0 instead of boring football, it was a terrible tournament but the best team won, Yamal should have had 2 goals in that final so 2.1 was flattering

  6. Here’s a stat regarding English managers, since the start of the premier league there hasn’t been one English manager to lead their side to a title, Scottish is the closest, we are so depleted in top managers from here it’s hard to see us winning at international level but I hope I’m wrong 😑

  7. I see the value of Jordan now. There needs to be someone contrarian in the group so that the podcast can go on for an hour +. He takes all the bullets only for the sake of the podcast. He doesn't actually believe anything he says.

  8. Social media tells a different story with the Calafiori deal. I think it has been dragging for too long and it seems like we don't want to offer the payment structure that Bologna want. I have a feeling the deal might not happen.

  9. The perception in seems to me is that someone will now come in and get England 'over the line' to win a tournament.

These are/were salad days – I think it dissipates from here moving forward for England.

  10. Sorry Jordan, individually, based on talent and club form, we do have the best squad. Maybe it doesn't work as a team but as talent we definitely do. Which is why the performance are so disappointing

  11. “Just go….Should’ve gone 2 years ago…Some Arsenal fans make an emotional connection with players and it’s not healthy…”. What the fuck are you lot on?!?! (Unsubscribed)

  12. Jordan just likes to arggue. We didnt have a betyersquadback when…… Everyone, U included, has said this is thebest SQUAD ever. The 1st 11 maybe….. this guy says anything to be different……

  13. Rice done his job. Its just the players infront of him was negative. No movement which means. He had no options to go forward. U cant blame him solely for the teams mistakes. English mentality stops us from doing possesion based. Got the technique. But not the mentality

  14. Jordan @21:30 . Really Jordan? sometimes I wonder if you just talk for talking 's sake. You would bring players who are NOT in form and leave out players who ARE in form Oh I get it! They would suddenly be great. WOW!!

  15. @01:17:58 Turkish asking "Jordan, did you see the thumbnail?"
Jordan: "Some one put it in the group, some one sent it to me".
Which translates to "I didn't see the whole thumbnail, but I did watch the highlights of the thumbnail".

  16. Once again, we can trust Lee to call it out and speak straight!
Kneelgate's tactics threw away that Euro20 final v Italy.
Then brings on 2 young players to take PENS, who didn't even kick the ball yet.
Fair play to Saka for not letting that whole experience get to him and his game.
Get lost Jordan about Kneelgate is a leader, just because you've met him and he's a nice guy, so what!
After the 1st dreadful Euro game, he pines for his 'Kalvin-Comfy' blanket, that's some leader you got there, or you've rewritten the definition of that very word.
You sound like a member of the FA manager appointing commitee.
What trophy did his touch-feely-kneely media PR get the team/country?
And that's despite having 3 back2back spookey-Flukey draws and a home final, with a packed roaring Wembley.
If he was this leader you say, why was a clearly unfit, grossly underperforming Kane played in every game?
Looks like Kane was the leader, as no of the Elite managers would've put up with that version of Kane, especially with Watkins & Toney getting splinters on the bench.
Venables is the last ENG manager that took the team to the max, gallantly & narrowly loosing to PENs to a great German team, who won it.
28 flipping years ago! Then 34yrs back to Robson.

  17. I overall like Jude. I liked the it's always me celebration. But I agree with Lee and turkish, his attitude when he thought he was being subbed off was abit eh. As if he thought he was untouchable.
