  1. Good job . Yes totally 💯 . No more so called International investment. They are sufficient according to them . We are the poor and a budden to them , yet the sky , land and sea all route lead to and out of Africa full of wealth.

  2. Learn from the mistakes of your African brothers who wasted the national's wealth. Natural resources only last as long as they are in demand. Use your funds to build a highly skilled workforce of your own, other permanent. long staying industries, good quality affordable homes for the inhabitants, a strong well equipped discipline educated security force, civil and social services.

  3. Wow, this is PR not journalism. I'm gonna send this to Vice to rip apart.

CNBC needs to understand, in countries like South Sudan, you don't give a platform to companies like Nile Petroleum… especially when they have ties to tribalist militias that co-operate with government intelligence services to displace civilians.

Go interview a normal company like Eskom that actually needs a platform to communicate with their shareholders/stakeholders.

South Sudan is literally a tribalist dictatorship in plain site. Their leader betrayed his own leader (from the same tribe) to create whatever their government is. That ss government siphons more than 80% of public petrolatum funds to their own pockets. Whatever intermediate government exists today is just to please the people that fund their lifestyle.

    Do better.
