The citizens of South Sudan are demanding that before any Sudanese nationals are sent back, the Sudanese government must return our people. If this does not happen, we will hold accountable the leaders who protect them. We cannot easily forgive what the Sudanese government has done to our people; they must be placed in detention centers for their own protection.

If the Sudanese government truly cared about its citizens, they would never have murdered innocent South Sudanese. The pain we feel is unbearable. If our people in northern Sudan are not returned, we will respond in kind to what has been done to our brothers and sisters—an eye for an eye.

During our civil war, we chose not to harm Sudanese civilians, despite the violence inflicted upon us. We did not kill innocent people, even when we faced brutality. It's time for justice and accountability.

Citizens of South Sudan are expressing their outrage towards the government, demanding the immediate deportation of Sudanese nationals back to Sudan. They warn that failure to act could lead to violent repercussions against these individuals. As the death toll rises, public anger is escalating across the nation. Innocent people—students, women, children, and the elderly—are caught in the crossfire, and the bloodshed inflicted by the Sudanese government threatens to spill from South Sudan into northern Sudan.

The South Sudanese government must establish detention centers immediately to protect Sudanese refugees, as a crisis is imminent. The international community must step in with urgent financial support to provide clothing and food for those at risk of retaliation from South Sudanese citizens. This situation highlights the critical need for a comprehensive review of the Comprehensive Peace Agreement (CPA).

In this complex situation, Dinka, Nuer, Shilluk individuals, and those from Blue Nile, South Kordofan, and Abyei—while culturally South Sudanese—are often seen as northern Sudanese by nationality. Some areas are still under United Nations administration. As urgent news reaches cattle camps and villages, immediate action is essential to avert an impending tragedy.

I urge innocent civilians, both South and North Sudanese, to get out as soon as they can, because this conflict is sparing no one. And that which makes it frightening is the alleged chemical weapons use and the lack of accountability. No one of the factions is scrupulous any more than the other is barbaric. It’s a complete desperation…a mindless power struggle that will surely bring more loss of lives, suffering and destructions of livelihood.
