South African trapped miners: Police end mine rescue operation with 78 dead and 246 survivors

South African police say they have ended a rescue operation at an abandoned gold mine in Stilfontein.
They say all survivors have been brought out.
At least 78 undocumented miners have been confirmed dead, with 246 rescued.
But many others are unaccounted for.
